Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang tanggapan dan kelayakan satuan pendidikan terhadap penerapan delapan standar nasional pendidikan (SNP), trend kuantitas dan kualitas pendidikan, status akreditasi sekolah, tingkat pemenuhan, rasional dan tanggapan terhadap SNP, urutan delapan standar nasional yang harus dicapai, standar nasional yang paling sulit dicapai, tingkat kepuasan peserta didik terhadap pelayanan sekolah dan hambatan-hambatan dalam mencapai SNP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan studi dokumentasi. Data hasil FGD dianalisis secara kualitatif dan data hasil mengedarkan instrument dianalisis secara kuan-titatif. My Professor Is Hot! Correlates Of Ratemyprofessors.Com Ratings For Criminal Justice And Criminology Faculty Members, Richard R. Johnson, Angela D. Crews

RateMyProfessors.com” ratings of the easiness, helpfulness, clarity, overall quality, and “hotness” of 407 criminal justice and criminology faculty members from across the United States were collected. Data were analyzed to determine what faculty characteristics determined these ratings. Experience working in the criminal justice field predicted higher ratings, while years of teaching experience was predictive of lower ratings. After controlling for instructors easiness and “hotness” ratings, the instructors’ ascribed characteristics (such as race and sex) explained the greatest proportion of variance in clarity, helpfulness, and overall quality scores. This paper examines the development of authentic assessment tasks focusing on the dimensions of quality teaching for pre-service teachers. Assessment tasks designed for students to continually put teaching skills into practice are essential to develop quality teachers. The process involved student and teacher consultation and the establishment of additional school-university partnerships. The purpose of the research was to review the school-university partnerships and to determine whether these links have been beneficial to the students and the schools involved. Background Aging is one of the most important and obvious phenomenon observed in our society. In the past years, there has been a growing concern in designing physical activity (PA) programmes for elderly people, because evidence suggests that such health promotion interventions may reduce the deleterious effects of the ageing process.
