Esta investigación de enfoque cualitativo- descriptivo tiene como objeto de estudio la Educación Rural y la representación de esta en el medio científico. Aquí, por medio de un análisis documental de las revistas científicas indexadas de la plataforma Latindex, se estudiaron los conceptos de educación y escuela rural, sus principales componentes: el contexto, el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje, los actores, sus características y cómo estos modelan la educación en la ruralidad. LaSalle found that while automation is increasing at an even accelerating pace, little emphasis is apparent in high school curriculums on the significance of automated processes for prospective office workers. He further stated that business education departments should study local situations and prepare students to qualify for available data processing employment.

The need for data processing training in the Ogden area is evident in the frequent requests by local employers for people trained in data processing.

The purpose of this study is to review the literature of the past twenty years as it relates to tort liability of school districts, boards of education, and teachers, with special emphasis on the field of physical education and related activities such as intramurals and inter-scholastic competition.

Recent legislation passed by the Utah legislature is cited. In certain instances this will be contrasted with older laws and practices which still prevail in a good number of states.

It is usually recognized that, in the broad sense, our public schools are maintained for the instruction of children and youth. Moreover, there appear to be three important factors which bear directly upon the nature of this instruction: (1) the individuals who enter the teaching profession, the kinds of people they are, their physical, emotional and mental characteristics or capacities; (2) the kind of education these potential educators receive in preparation for their professional work; and, (3) the actual teaching assignment the individual receives in the particular school where he is employed.
