This paper addresses the need for a collective that serves students from all three concentrations in Cal Poly’s journalism department: news editorial, public relations, and broadcast. The collective, Poly Press Association, will feature student work, and provide comprehensive tutorials, internship opportunities/ratings, and student blogs. The Poly Press Association aims to help eliminate any boundaries between the three concentrations.
