3D modeling technology is a great way to approach a broad range of educational pedagogies. Participants learned how to integrate 3D technology into your classroom. This presentation focused on the pedagogical applications of 3D printing and design in the classroom that we have implemented with chemistry, art and environmental studies faculty and students. During this intensive workshop participants learned how 3D printing and design can be used as a tool for creative problem solving.

Ernest Boyer's research in the early 1990's has had a large impact since on how many schools of higher education define and conduct scholarship. Some research universities have broadened their requirements beyond publish or perish and universities who emphasize teaching over publishing have reported activities to broaden theirsl. This research project surveys the scholarship policies and attitudes of schools within the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), contrasting the views of library directors and academic deans. Supported by a grant from CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois).

A new leadership paradigm is moving toward strategies that guide leaders in the discovery of new possibilities for creating changes in clinical practice. Leadership is no longer a solo act. An acquisition of team spirit is essential for guiding transformative leaders to undertake opportunities inside and outside of organizations. The goal of this project is to develop a Transformative Leadership concentration to lead Doctor of Nursing Practice students in applying foundational principles of transformative leadership.
