This thesis evaluates the Augsburg College Teachers of Color Program in several crucial areas (based on "The Seven Essential Elements of a Successful Urban [Alternative] Licensure Program" model). These areas include the selection and screening of candidates, the combination of theory and practice, collaborative partnerships, information sharing (communication among all parties), professional and pedagogical studies (curriculum), attitudes and perception of new teachers, and supervision and mentoring (school and college mentoring).
