Analysis Of Usage Of The Ohio State University’S Electronic Theses And Dissertations, Daniel S. Dotson

This study involves an examination of the download rates for The Ohio State University’s freely available electronic theses and dissertations. The Graduate School has required submission of doctorial (2002) and masters (2008) for over a decade, with limited exceptions, including embargos. Older digitized theses and dissertations have been made available over the past several years, resulting in over 51,000 titles in the online holdings. Download data from the OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations Center were analyzed to determine how well the theses and dissertations were used and what departments saw noted success for their students’ works.

Teaching using technologies has helped in making learning flexible, accommodating and increases potential learners. This study examines the information and communication technology assesses and use by teachers of community health nurses training school. The purposive sampling technique was used to select all the thirty teachers. The data was analysed using frequency, percentages, chi-square, bivariate correlation, t-test and linear regression. The study revealed that majority of the teachers has high competence level in ICT usage. The findings of the study showed that majority of the teachers have access to ICT tools such as computers, mobile phones, and personal digital assistants. The …

This study attempts to analyze the quality of Ph.D theses awarded by Mahatma Gandhi University, South India in the field of Social Sciences through their in-text citations and bibliography. This is done by foregrounding the mistakes made by the scholars in their theses.
