Perceptions of rape have evolved dramatically over the past decade. Prior to the second wave of the feminist movement, rape was perceived to be committed by a psychotic man against a woman. The feminist movement brought the term "acquaintance rape" into the popular lexicon and into the forefront of women's consciousness. As a result, throughout the 1970s and 1980s state governments enacted laws to prohibit "sexual assault," or expanded existing rape laws to include a variety of relationships or sexual acts. This thesis examines the factors that influence the college choice and decision making behaviour adopted by Leaving Certificate Students choosing third level colleges in tertiary education. It attempts to understand the decision making process and associated influences that affect students when considering a third level college. The position adopted for this study is that of a consumer behaviour perspective.

The purpose of this project was to develop a recruitment plan to increase Central Washington University's enrollment of freshmen students from the state of Washington. To develop this plan, current research and literature related to increasing ·enrollment at institutions of higher education were researched and reviewed. A review of current strategies was also conducted and the new plan developed. This paper presents a descriptive study of the findings from a questionnaire designed to evaluate the achievements of Central Washington University in meeting the expressed objectives in the Undergraduate Catalog as a statement of responsibility. The study was accomplished by a survey limited to the Central graduates in teacher education. The essential direction of the study was to compare the stated and implied objectives applicable to the program in teacher education at Central Washington University. Problem
The most important concern of Seventh-day Adventists is the proper and fullest development of character. This study investigates perception patterns on character values and factors influencing positive character development held by subjects on a church supported university campus (Andrews University).
Method
The self-administered questionnaire, developed by Kreps (1970) to examine the attitudes held by college students concerning values that are important in promoting positive character development in individuals, was modified in part to conform to background characteristics of Andrews University students. This paper presents the results of a national survey of 342 four year public institutions of higher education. The survey was conducted by questionnaire. Its purpose was to determine the administrative level, educational background, and major job responsibilities of persons performing analysis of physical facility needs in colleges and universities. The survey revealed that 115 (46. 18 percent) of 249 responding institutions had such an employee. The most frequently reported job title was Campus Planner, and Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Education were the most common undergraduate majors.
