In his remarks, Mr. Scharper speaks about the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, and concludes --"An act of faith, then, as well as an act of dedication and consecration: for this library must be the beating heart, not only of the community of learning: as a Christian library, it must be the beating heart of a community of love."
