Reviewing Patient Satisfaction Of Lifecare Alliance Services Provided To The Columbus Community, Sean Ruffner

Two separate patient satisfaction surveys were sent out to LifeCare Alliance’s customers. Each patient was asked a set of five questions that generalized the encounters as a whole experience. The first survey is for patients that were seen by nurses for footcare, general wellness and more (1A - PowerPoint). The other survey was sent to clients who received the flu vaccine (1B - PowerPoint). To conclude, data was then collected and analyzed using an excel spreadsheet (1C – PowerPoint).

Employer Services is one of the many divisions within OhioHealth. The division’s focus is to improve the health and wellness of different employers. This includes onsite clinics, health screenings, flu shots, fitness and nutrition programming, and tobacco cessation programs. OhioHealth offers biometric screenings to employers to determine how healthy employees are. The number of risk factors an employee determines their health insurance. OhioHealth’s 2 largest companies are Nationwide Children’s Hospital and OhioHealthy. Part of these biometric screenings includes screening for tobacco. The strategic planning department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital works to plan and make decisions regarding the wellbeing of patients with behavioral health disorders. This project involved an 8-hour workday everyday Friday and on site involvement in the strategic planning department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. During this process, I was able to support providers specifically in the Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit (YCSU), Nursing Staff in BHP, President & Vice President of Behavioral Health.
