Reviewing Patient Satisfaction Of Lifecare Alliance Services Provided To The Columbus Community, Sean Ruffner

Two separate patient satisfaction surveys were sent out to LifeCare Alliance’s customers. Each patient was asked a set of five questions that generalized the encounters as a whole experience. The first survey is for patients that were seen by nurses for footcare, general wellness and more (1A - PowerPoint). The other survey was sent to clients who received the flu vaccine (1B - PowerPoint). To conclude, data was then collected and analyzed using an excel spreadsheet (1C – PowerPoint).

The American Lung Association is a Nationwide non-profit organization. During times of COVID, many businesses and organizations have been struggling, especially nonprofits. Nonprofit organizations rely heavily on sponsors, donors and events to bring in the money they need to stay running. A major event for ALA is the Fight For Air Climb. The FFAC had to make changes due to Covid precautions and protocols. While in the midst of a pandemic, the nation is also in the middle of a vaping epidemic. ALA is dedicated in putting a stop to the vaping epidemic.

As the world is becoming more interconnected, the importance of having a well-rounded, global education is necessary. To meet those needs, many students are electing to study abroad during their time in college. Although research has been done to examine the direct benefits of studying abroad, there has been little research done to differentiate the impacts of short-term and long-term study abroad. This research looked at how students reflected on both their short-term and long-term study abroad experiences and it examined the benefits of both lengths of travel. The underutilization of mental health services by college students is an enduring problem, highlighted by increasing popularity of mental health awareness efforts. One strategy used to understand this problem is examining college students’ attitudes toward seeking psychological help. The present study sought to examine college students’ attitudes toward seeking both psychological and religious forms of help, and the roles of religiosity/spirituality, psychological distress, and gender in predicting treatment preference. The Implementation Of Peak Relational Training System In A Special Education Classroom, Kelsey Leachko

This study was an instructional inquiry project using a single participant research design and mixed methods data collection. The study investigated the implementation of PEAK (Promoting the Emergence of Advanced Knowledge) Relational Training System: Direct Training Module (Dixon, 2014), specifically when focused on the behavior of a second-grade student with ASD in a specialized learning center. By conducting a pre-assessment with a single subject, deficits in foundational skills were identified and three focus behaviors were chosen for the intervention. PEAK was then implemented using a multiple baseline design to teach and reinforce the behaviors. The progress of the intervention was …

Athletic Training Education Programs are in the midst of major clinical and educational reforms following the release of the Strategic Alliance Degree Statement under the direction of the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Athletic Training has historically been a bachelor’s-level entry degree. The new degree standards under CAATE will make the profession a master’s-level entry degree. The purpose of this curriculum development project was to address the writing needs of English learners (ELs) in the seventh grade English/ Language Arts classroom through modifying the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project’s (TCRWP) Art of Argument Writing Unit with the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) model. The curriculum developed by TCRWP required modifications to support ELs in achieving the academic demands of today’s schools. One framework that supports ELs in the classroom is the SIOP model, which is grounded in 15 years of research (Echevarria, Vogt, & Short, 2013). The Groveport Recreation Center provides aquatics, a weight room with exercise equipment, two basketball courts, a fitness studio, a childcare area, senior center, a climbing wall, and an indoor track. Exercise classes, programs, and training sessions with personal trainers are available for members. People of all ages can find an activity that will benefit their mental and physical health.
