This paper deals with establishing Christian core-curriculum from a Reformed point of view (the paper also uses the term “college education that enables mission”) for Christian colleges and universities in the mission fields. The paper explores definition, content, and uses of core-curriculum, and relevant issues that must be deal with for the formation of it in the situation of the mission field. More and more families are ignoring God's mandate to train our covenant children in the instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4) and are choosing to educate their children in secular institutions because they do not see the value of Christian education. Why is this? What can we do about it?

Faculty Work Comprehensive List
This article argues for a paradigm transition from “education for mission” model to “education that enables mission” model that is based on an integrative Christian spirituality and worldview. The former model loosely combines two different disciplines without deep consideration of the relationship. It uses education as a means to accomplish mission and may lead to conflicts between the two disciplines and thus sacrifice the unique nature and role of education. The latter model is rooted on a biblical interpretation of the comprehensive redemptive history of God which is reflected in the holistic Christian thought. On such a Christian basis, education …

A common part of the conversation about Millenials is to describe them as exceptionally technologically-savvy; some have called them "digital natives." But research does not bear this out; people of older generations can be equally tech-savvy, and while many Millenials love their phones and social media, etc., the reality is that all of us are acculturated into a particular era of technology, and members of each generation can exhibit a range of comfort and skill working with different technologies.
