The China-US trade war disrupted nearly half a century of trade liberalization, impacting the global distribution of production and the configuration of supply chains. This paper focuses on automobile production and tire supply to analyze the impact of industrial layout changes during the China-US trade war on the global supply chain structure. The study finds that for US automobile production, the trade war presents both positive and negative effects. While tariffs on automobiles protect the local automotive market, the increased production costs due to tariffs on components place US-made cars at a competitive disadvantage in the global market, negatively affecting …

تتناول هذه الدراسة تشخيص مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي و فاعلية الرسالة التسويقية الإلكترونية، وذلك من خلال دراسة حالة لعينة من طلاب جامعة بغداد. يهدف البحث إلى تحليل دور منصات التواصل الاجتماعي في تحسين التفاعل مع الإعلانات التجارية وزيادة الوعي بالعلامة التجارية. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث تم جمع البيانات باستخدام استبيان وزع على 200 طالب، وتم تحليلها إحصائيًا باستخدام معامل ألفا كرونباخ لاختبار الثبات، بالإضافة إلى اختبار التوزيع الطبيعي.

Background: This study examined the role of total quality management, just-in-time, and green supply chain management practices to improve environmental performance. Methods: Data from 207 manufacturing industry respondents from a developing economy were tested through a quantitative method using PLS-SEM with the help of SmartPLS to validate the measurement model. Results: The results show that just-in-time significantly impacts total quality management and green supply chain management practices. Similarly, total quality management significantly affects environmental performance. However, just-in-time insignificantly affects the environment. This study investigates the phenomenon of quiet quitting and turnover intention among working Generation Z students in the U.S. and Taiwan. Using the cross-sectional study design, data were collected from over 500 participants from the U.S. and 69 from Taiwan. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and multiple regression to examine the predictive power of key workplace factors— emotional exhaustion, supervisory support, incentives, job satisfaction, and workplace environment—on both employee disengagement and turnover intention.

This study employs technology-organization-environment (TOE) framework and threat-rigidity theory (TRT) to examine whether perceived disruption caused by COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the adoption of BT, and inclination to adopt BT in the US. A recent retail trend is the rise of “digital-first” firms, where their merchandise is sold primarily via online efforts. In this exploratory study we describe our investigation of the customer journey for a digital-first seller of cosmetics and personal care products. We collected qualitative and quantitative data from a customer survey and follow-up interviews. Results indicate that personal connections and actual product use are the two most important touchpoints customers consider in first discovering the seller and then building a relationship with the brand. We describe practical applications of the findings and suggest ideas for future research.

As labour costs in China increase, labour-intensive industries are migrating to ASEAN countries, attracted by lower labour costs and market potential. This shift not only affects the economies of China and ASEAN but also reshapes the global manufacturing landscape. This paper investigates the correlation and spillover of supply chain risks using production exposure indicators derived from inter-country input-output data and the R-Vine Copula model. We assess the risk spillover of each country within the global supply chain. Sustainable supply chain practices are increasingly emphasized as organizations seek to balance economic, social, and environmental responsibilities. Yet, empirical findings remain inconsistent, particularly in emerging economies where organizational readiness varies. This study examines (1) the influence of market orientation, dynamic capabilities, and managerial commitment on sustainable supply chain practices, and (2) whether these practices contribute to economic, social, and environmental performance. Data were collected from 159 managers across multiple industries in Thailand. การขนส่งสินค้าทางทะเลมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อเศรษฐกิจโลก โดยคิดเป็นสัดส่วนร้อยละ 80 ของการขนส่งสินค้าระหว่างประเทศ เนื่องจากมีต้นทุนต่ำและสามารถรองรับสินค้าปริมาณมาก อย่างไรก็ตาม อุตสาหกรรมนี้กำลังเผชิญความท้าทายจากมาตรการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกที่องค์การทางทะเลระหว่างประเทศ (IMO) กำหนดใช้ตั้งแต่ปี 2023 เพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายการปล่อยคาร์บอนสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ภายในปี 2050 มาตรการดังกล่าวส่งผลต่อสายการเดินเรือทั่วโลก รวมถึงประเทศไทย ทั้งในด้านต้นทุนการดำเนินงาน การลงทุนในเทคโนโลยี และการปรับเปลี่ยนเชื้อเพลิงทางเลือกที่มีราคาสูงกว่าเชื้อเพลิงฟอสซิลหลายเท่างานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อการดำเนินงานของสายการเดินเรือในประเทศไทยจากข้อกำหนดลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก (2) วิเคราะห์แนวทางการปรับตัวเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล และ (3) นำเสนอแนวทางการบริหารจัดการที่เหมาะสมในช่วงการเปลี่ยนผ่าน ขอบเขตการศึกษาเน้นบริษัทเดินเรือระหว่างประเทศที่มีฐานปฏิบัติการในประเทศไทย จำนวน 5 บริษัท และบริษัทตรวจสอบมาตรฐานอีก 2 บริษัท โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้บริหารและบุคลากรที่เกี่ยวข้องผลการศึกษาคาดว่าจะช่วยให้ผู้ประกอบการเดินเรือสามารถปรับกลยุทธ์เพื่อลดผลกระทบจากมาตรการใหม่ สนับสนุนการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน และเป็นข้อมูลสำคัญสำหรับการกำหนดนโยบายภาครัฐที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกในอุตสาหกรรมขนส่งทางทะเลของไทย
