The East Tennessee State University Marching Bucs received another surprise announcement from New York City: The ETSU Majorettes and Color Guard have been invited to perform in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular on  Nov. 27, 2024, the day before the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

JOHNSON CITY (Sept. 13, 2022) – Two student pharmacists from East Tennessee State University Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy have been accepted into the prestigious Tennessee Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Scholars Program, an interprofessional training opportunity designed to develop a diverse, culturally sensitive health care workforce that is well equipped to offer quality care, particularly to rural and underserved populations.

This study explains how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the food sector adapted during the pandemic. In-depth, semi-structured, hybrid interviews were conducted with fifteen SME owners in the food sector in Bandung, Indonesia. The study describes five business adaptation strategies using service-dominant logic (S-DL) and structural-functionalism theory: (a) relationship adaptation with suppliers and landlords, (b) employee adaptation, (c) product and sales adaptation, (d) operations adaptation, and (e) promotion adaptation. In addition, it explores the effect of consumer attachment. In order to address this focus, it suggests a framework for analyzing this relationship by using the Partial Least Squares Equation Modeling. During its regular quarterly meeting held earlier today, the East Tennessee State University Board of Trustees set a new direction for the university's future in athletics and commemorated significant milestones in student enrollment.

New athletics program

To provide additional athletics opportunities for women, the board approved the establishment of a new women's Acrobatics and Tumbling athletics program. It is currently recognized as an emerging sport by the NCAA and is expected to achieve NCAA Championship Sport status by 2024.
