East Tennessee State University’s ROTC Program is inducting new members into its Hall of Fame. The storied ROTC program, a unit assigned to ETSU for more than half a century, has commissioned over 1,500 second lieutenants.
The Hall of Fame class of 2023 will be honored in a ceremony scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. in the Grand Soldiers Ballroom at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City. The event is free and open to the public and corresponds with ETSU Homecoming.

To receive this honor, undergraduate students must pass a minimum of 12 credits (excluding audits, incompletes, repeats, and pass/fail) with no grade below B- in any course taken, and a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Dr. Stacey Fisher is one of six teachers making up the inaugural Distinguished Educator Council of the Tennessee Financial Literacy Commission (TNFLC). Yang will speak at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, in the D.P. Culp Student Center ballroom. His talk is free and open to the public.

JOHNSON CITY (Sept. 13, 2022) – Two student pharmacists from East Tennessee State University Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy have been accepted into the prestigious Tennessee Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Scholars Program, an interprofessional training opportunity designed to develop a diverse, culturally sensitive health care workforce that is well equipped to offer quality care, particularly to rural and underserved populations.
