This research analyses the influence of both individual and leadership characteristics on research productivity. mediated by institutional characteristics. of the lecturers in the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Languages and Arts at the University of X in Jakarta. We distributed a questionnaire with closed questions to 100 lecturers who are not department heads and hold master’s degrees or higher. We then performed a quantitative analysis of mediation using SPSS software. This research aims at studying an elderly employment model for the Thai automotive industry. Mixed methods with a sequential exploratory strategy were utilized. Grounded theory was employed by using in-depth interviews to investigate the characteristics of elderly employment in the Thai automotive industry. For this stage of the research, theoretical and purposive sampling was used to select 32 key informants from four groups of stakeholders: (1) elderly workers, (2) employers or human resource managers, (3) government officers, and (4) academics. This study aims to delineate the key socio-emotional needs important for voice behavior. To do this, we examine individual and contextual factors as mechanisms underlying how psychological ownership and perceived support influence employee voice behavior. Employing survey research of 210 employees from two big companies in Indonesia, analyses revealed that perceived supervisor support had direct and indirect effects on voice behavior, and job-based psychological ownership is a crucial mediator of the relationship between organization-based psychological ownership and perceived supervisor support on voice behavior. Musings of thirty-six college students from three higher educational institutions in the Manila, Philippines were used to look at the constructs of physical appeal and its power to influence leadership. By thematically analyzing the musings of the students, the research found physical appeal concepts that are associated to leadership. The study revealed that the students perceive leadership in two ways: from “within” the leader such as skills and knowledge, and from the “outside” where leadership is associated to goals, to influences, and to authority. This study aims to analyze the effects of social capital—namely structural, relational, and cognitive dimensions—on crowdfunding performance using Kitabisa.com as a case study for 2013-2015. Using robust ordinary least squares methods, we find two important results. Structural dimension, which is measured by Facebook friends owned by an entrepreneur, affects crowdfunding success. The cognitive dimension, which is measured by the number of words that are written by entrepreneurs in the platform, also affects crowdfunding opportunities in order to wage a successful campaign. With a robust recent history of reform and opening, joining of the World Trade Organization, and negotiating a myriad of regional and global trade agreements, Vietnam has emerged as a promising destination for foreign direct investment (FDI) and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In this paper, we provide an overview of Vietnam’s inbound mergers and acquisitions and review the two main driving forces of inbound M&A, which are the legal framework reform process and the equitization of State-owned enterprises. We close by providing directions for future research in the area of cross-border M&As.

This research aims to determine the level of interest by farmers in using the services of formal financial institutions, especially digital financial services (DFS). The methods of the research were descriptive statistics and SEM analysis. The majority of respondents (50%) farmed an average area of land less than 0.5 hectares, 26% of respondents an average of 0.75-1 hectares and 24% of respondents an average of 0.5-0.75 hectares of land. The relationship between collaboration with competitors and goods innovation performance was investigated along with the moderating effect of the innovating firm's technological capability. The hypothesis that collaboration with competitors has an inverted U-shaped relationship with goods innovation performance was tested using data on new goods introductions from 749 Iranian firms. The results support the balance between competition and collaboration by confirming that collaboration with competitors contributes considerably to successful goods innovation. The positive influences of co-optation certainly seem consistent with the cooperative arguments that collaboration with competitors increases absorptive capacity, improves information exchange and facilitates joint problem solving. This paper reports the sources of productivity growth of 23 Indonesian airports foryears 2006-2010. Using input slack-based productivity index (ISP), we disaggregatetotal factor productivity change into each input productivity change. Apron areaand terminal area are chosen as input variables while aircrafts’ movement is theoutput. By classifying the airports based on two operators, this study finds thatairports under the management of Angkasa Pura 1 (AP1) show higher productivitygrowth than Angkasa Pura 2 (AP2), whose growth is mainly driven by technicalprogress in apron areas. Moreover, the productivity decline of AP2 was mostlydue to inefficient use of terminal areas.

This paper aims to analyze how work overload influences turnover intentions of newly hired junior auditors in public accounting offices. Job satisfaction, work related stress and work life conflicts are used as mediating variables between work overload and turnover intention. This study employed 141 auditors from several accounting firms operating in the Greater Jakarta region. The sample was selected using purposive sampling. Three mediation hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The positive impact of absorptive capacity (ACAP) on innovation and the positive impact of innovation on competitive advantage have been proven in different research contexts. However, current knowledge on organizational culture that affects ACAP, innovation and competitive advantage as a whole, remains unclear. This article proposes a model to examine how organizational culture (developmental culture and rational culture) affects ACAP, innovation and competitive advantage, directly and indirectly as well.
