Small manufacturing and craft-based firms increasingly use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) through public chat interfaces, low-cost tools, and informal experimentation. However, these firms often make operational decisions with incomplete records, tacit owner knowledge, fragmented spreadsheets, and limited managerial capacity. Under such conditions, open-ended chatbots may generate fluent but unsafe recommendations by overlooking missing information, contradictory evidence, feasibility constraints, and implementation constraints. This study examined the predictive ability of machine learning algorithms in identifying crises within African stock markets. The study employed seven distinct machine-learning models, analyzing historical stock prices from eight stock markets, three major sentiment indicators, and the exchange rates of local currencies against the US dollar, with each data spanning from May 1, 2007, to April 1, 2023. Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) emerged as the most effective algorithm for predicting crises. Preventive health care is widely acknowledged as one of the most effective ways to reduce medical costs and enhance people's health. Preventive health care information (PHCI) is a crucial component. This study examines the PHCI-seeking behaviors of Taiwanese baby boomers. The study found some support for the idea that the preferred media used influenced the likelihood of Information seeking behavior. While previous research explores the relationship between ESG ratings, firm size, and financial outcomes, there is a lack of comprehensive analysis comparing multiple ESG ratings within the mining industry. This gap is crucial given the increasing focus on ESG in mining operations and its potential impact on company performance. Based on proprietary financial and ESG ratings data from 200 mining companies, this study investigates the relationship between two different ESG ratings and firm characteristics. This paper proposes a novel approach to wormhole detection by leveraging propagation delay analysis between network nodes. This study examines the perceptions of women in ICT regarding the hybrid work model in South Africa's telecommunications sector, a shift accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The research explores both the benefits—such as flexibility, financial savings, and improved work-life balance—and the challenges, including communication difficulties, collaboration issues, and infrastructural problems like power outages. Cyber threats and attacks disrupt and damages supply chain networks (SCNs), which are complex and interlinked. Current methods to predict and prevent cyberattacks are inadequate and ineffective. This research proposes an AI developmental systems framework (FAIDS) to protect SCNs from cyberattacks. The framework has four components: (1) an AI threat intelligence system; (2) an AI risk assessment system; (3) an AI decision support system; and (4) an AI learning and adaptation system. This dissertation examines the influence of organizational controls on technological capabilities in privately owned U.S. corporations, with a specific focus on family-owned businesses. The primary objective of the study was to investigate how formal controls (process and outcome) and clan controls (informal practices) impact technological innovation and competence. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 177 individuals and analyzed through partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) path analysis. This study explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on project management across the manufacturing, technology, and construction industries. The research focuses on understanding the benefits, challenges, and long-term implications of AI utilization in these sectors. Key findings indicate that 46% of participants use AI mainly for task automation and enhancing functions like brainstorming and communication, which significantly boosts efficiency and team productivity. Despite these benefits, the research identifies several obstacles, including high initial costs, inadequate training, technical issues, and unclear regulatory guidelines.
