The entertainment industry has undergone profound changes due to the rapid advancement of automation and technology, significantly impacting the labor force behind its productions. Labor unions, such as the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and the Writers Guild of America (WGA), have been at the forefront of negotiating contracts and protecting workers’ rights amidst these changes.
