The Effect Of Primary School Entrepreneurship Education Programs On The Evolution Of Pupils’ Human Capital Assets, Janez Gorenc, Alenka Slavec Gomezel, Željka Kitić, Blaž Zupan

The formation of entrepreneurship-related human capital in primary-school entrepreneurship education programs (EEPs) is of great interest to European policymakers. European education systems have widely implemented EEPs since the Oslo Agenda for entrepreneurship education in Europe was passed in 2006. However, primary-school EEPs remain an underresearched domain of entrepreneurship education. The present article investigates the development of entrepreneurship-related human capital in EEPs for 9–14-year-olds in 22 primary schools. It uses a quasi-experimental design with repeated measures. Training is essential to guide and equip SMEs with the necessary skill sets to adapt to the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. The budget limitation urged DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (DJPG) to change their conventional training program for SMEs and arrange an IT-based platform enabling all city entities, including private and non-private sectors, to participate in a coproduction scheme. This study employed the performance outcomes framework to examine the impacts of coproduction in entrepreneurship training for SMEs by comparing contract-based and coproduction-based training conducted by DJPG, including the impacts on the deliverables and budget. Background and objective: In this paper, we explore first-generation leadership succession in family businesses which, despite extensive literature on the subject, remains insufficiently understood. Our goal is to acquire new knowledge and understanding regarding this phenomenon with a view to making it more effective.

Method: The basis of our research is a qualitative multiple case study that includes six medium-sized manufacturing family businesses. We conducted semi-structured interviews with incumbents, successors and family representatives, and analysed the data obtained using the content analysis method.

College interns often possess information-age skills that are not familiar to workers who have been on the job for several years. Interns may be future sources for new employees. There is also the added benefit of observing and evaluating an intern for future consideration, as a full-time employee, after graduation. Giving junior employees the opportunity to supervise interns is also a way of evaluating the junior employees’ potential as a supervisor. The employment of college interns should be a mutually beneficial endeavor. As with all successful endeavors, the employment of interns requires planning and supervision.
