The base concept of this study is to explore the interrelationship between Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) practices, employee motivation and performance within the European Hospitality Industry. The research aims to identify the barriers and facilitators that shape motivational synergies stimulating performance outcomes, particularly for underrepresented employee groups. The researcher employed a mixed-methods approach underpinned by a pragmatic interpretivist framework. The findings revealed that there is wide use of discriminatory practices, limited career progression and poor work-life balance which act as significant demotivators (Siu et al., 1997). The purpose of this qualitative study was to better understand and analyze themes and patterns shared among the lived experiences of 12 female Latina Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) in male-dominated police departments in the Midwest (Illinois and Minnesota). The researcher chose to adopt a basic interpretive qualitative research methodology for this study because it provides a flexible and useful research tool, and provided a broader approach to interpreting meaning from rich and detailed data, yet complex, and account of semi-structured interviews that served as a data collection instrument. Understanding Attitudes Towards Change, Organizational Diversity & Inclusion Strategies And Anti-Racist, Multicultural Engagement, Lynda D. Gonzales

Building on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), this study focuses on employees from YMCAs across the United States and explores the relationships between individual resistance to change (RTC), attitudes towards organizational diversity & inclusion strategies (AODI) and engagement in anti-racist, multicultural (AMO) efforts. Utilizing the Resistance to Change Scale, the study argues that higher RTC results in lower engagement in AMO activities. Additionally, the study explores AODI predicting more positive attitudes result in greater AMO engagement and that AODI will moderate the relationship between RTC and AMO.
