Campagne restaurant in Kilkenny city opened in 2008. The emphasis has been to serve food based on high-quality seasonal produce with French influences in a relaxed and comfortable dining area.
Located under the old railway arches on Gas House Lane, Campagne boasts a stylish interior featuring oak flooring, curved banquette leather seating and modern paintings depicting rural life by kilkenny artist Catherine Barron.
Campagne has been awarded many prestigious awards on a national and international level, most notably one Michelin star status in September 2013.

Hong Kong derives its name from a Cantonese expression 香港, which means "fragrant harbour". Scholars attribute the name to incense factories that stored merchandise in Aberdeen warehouses in the 19th century, but these days it's the scent of cooking that fills the air with sweet aromas as a wave of new restaurants open their doors. As Daniel Jeffreys reports, the city's vibrant culinary scene has made its appetite for skilled labour almost insatiable.

The responsible service, sale and marketing of alcohol for the tourism, hospitality and retail industries is crucial those working in the tourism, hospitality, culinary arts and retail industries including those in supervisory and management positions. This presentation explored a wide range of topics associated with sale and service of alcohol in these inter-related industries. Due to discrimination, waiters are less likely to provide good customer service to their black dinners solely based on the assumption that they are poor tippers. The theory of discrimination is the foundation of this observational study where attentiveness is measured to reflect waiters’ avoidance of African American diners. Assuming waiters start with their preconceived notions about Black customers, this research will use the critical race theory to determine if waiters are less attentive to African American diners. To further understand the subtle discriminatory behavior of waiters toward African Americans, this study analyzes observational data from a sample of waiters …

History: The former St. Mary’s Church of Ireland is one of the earliest examples of a galleried church in Dublin.Built at the beginning of the 18th century, it boasts many outstanding features, such as the Renatus Harris built organ and spectacular stained glass window.
St. Mary’s closed in 1964 and lay derelict for a number of years until it was purchased by John Keating in 1997.
