This research study examined perceptions of attraction to different organizational characteristics based on an individual’s Career Stage in Super’s (1980) life-span model. Using a diverse sample of 230 participants in the U.S. workforce 18 years or older, the study manipulated the opposing Reputation and flexible working arrangement (FWA) conditions of a hypothetical hiring organization in the technology industry. The results indicated that the main effects of Reputation and FWAs on general attraction, intention to pursue, perceived economic citizenship, and perceived ethical citizenship were significant. Objective: The objective of this review was to find literature related to the concepts of patient engagement and co-creation in healthcare services and identify models and/or frameworks that combined these concepts. Methods: We developed the eligibility criteria using the Population-Concept-Context framework applicable to studies with population of patients exploring the concepts of engagement and co-creation in the context of healthcare services. The search was conducted in PubMed, CINAHL, Cochrane, APA PsycINFO, and Ovid MEDLINE. We searched for articles in English with no search limitations on publication dates. This study explores the experiences of individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds using electronic medical records (EMRs) and identifies strategies to improve the inclusivity and usability of EMRs, aiming to reduce the digital divide in their access and use. A rapid review of the literature was conducted using Medline, Embase, and CINAHL databases to identify relevant studies published between 2010 and November 2023, with the assistance of a medical librarian.

A total of 44 studies were included in the review, revealing significant disparities in EMR adoption and utilization among ethnic minority groups. Three key themes of inequality were identified: presentation of …

Objective: The COVID-19 pandemic subjected healthcare systems' to decreasing operational margins, enhanced regulatory scrutiny, and challenges related to patients' expectations. Until now, there was a lack of empirical evidence studying patients' perceptions prior to versus deep immersion into the pandemic. Methods: This quantitative non-experimental ex post facto causal-comparative study examined if and to what extent there were significant differences in patients' perceptions of the nurses' communications, doctors' communications, overall hospital rating, and willingness to recommend before versus during the COVID-19 pandemic for HCAHPS participating hospitals in California. This study investigates the impact of Egyptian boycott campaigns following the Gaza war in 2023 on consumption behavior. It uses the lens of the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) to examine how the intention to consume (or not to consume) originating from attitudes, social norms, and perceived behavioural control leads to intentions that are reflected in different consumption behaviours. This study uses a mixed methodology, where it blends quantitative statistical analysis with indepth qualitative interviews. Research on the indirect value of rice production has primarily focused on ecosystem service functions, with less emphasis on externalities. This article conducts an innovative evaluation of the externality value of rice production and its significant impact on the ecological transformation of grain production. Utilizing the Chinese panel data on rice production from 2000 to 2021, the study applies methods such as the functional value approach, hotspot analysis, and spatial autocorrelation, in conjunction with geodetectors and geographically weighted regression, to assess the externality value of rice production. The importance of independent directors is well-recognized both in academic literature and among regulators. This dissertation leverages the introduction of the Management Measures for Independent Directors of Listed Companies (hereafter the Measures) in China, which reduces the maximum allowable concurrent directorships from five to three, to investigate whether fewer directorships allow independent directors to devote more time and attention to enhancing their monitoring effectiveness.
