Problem definition: : This study identifies a resource misallocation problem in Medicare Advantage (MA), the United States' largest healthcare capitation program, which may result in discrepancies between patients' health status and the healthcare resources allocated to them. Methodology/results: : Utilizing a large commercial insurance database with claims from more than 2 million MA enrollees, this research investigates the allocation of MA capitation payments. By exploiting an exogenous policy shock on MA capitation payments through a difference-in-difference design, we find empirical evidence of an illegal practice known as "cross-subsidization." As of June 2024, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved 950 medical artificial intelligence (AI) devices. The current regulatory framework freezes AI algorithms after approval, requiring new submissions for updates to ensure compliance with Good Machine Learning Practices (GMLP). This approach imposes a significant administrative burden, while hindering the ability of AI algorithms to learn from new data. To address these challenges, the FDA has explored a novel pathway known as Predetermined Change Control Plans (PCCP), allowing developers to outline future changes during initial submissions and exempting approved changes from regulatory review. In this respect, in-depth interviews were held with a sample of twenty female employees working in different departments of the Abu Dhabi Government. This study investigated the predictors of audit quality according to registered external auditors in Indonesia. Even though there are improvements in audit reports and practices, there is still some fraud and audit risk that affects the credibility of financial reports. This research is based on a random sample technique where 304 registered external auditors in Indonesia answered self-constructed research instruments and their validity was ascertained with exploratory factor analysis, where they resulted as good. This study examines the impact of WTO climate-related Trade Policy Reviews (TPR) on corporate efforts towards going green, specifically focusing on green technology adoption. Utilising a longitudinal sample comprising 30 countries from 2009 to 2019, the study provides original evidence that companies in countries with more frequent TPRs tend to adopt more green technologies. Channel analysis reveals that countries with climate-focused TPR entries, climate-related notifications, and climate-related measures effectively reduce managerial political risk perception, thereby facilitating the companies' adoption of green technologies. This paper explores the evolution of academic consumer research on Facebook by consolidating the existing body of literature. The study consists of 336 papers on the topic of Facebook and consumers, published in top journals between 2008 and 2023, sourced via Scopus. The data collection followed the PRISMA framework, and bibliometric analysis was conducted using descriptive and performance analyses with the aid of data tabulation software. Recognizing the increasing importance of wine tourism for local economies and the industry's need for competitive marketing strategies, this study investigates factors influencing travelers' intentions to visit wineries based on advertising. The findings indicate that winery advertisements featuring well-known destinations exert a positive halo effect, significantly enhancing travelers' visit intentions compared to those featuring lesser-known destinations. Additionally, the study reveals a matching effect between advertising language and destination reputation. Specifically, for lesser-known destinations, cognitive advertising language proves more effective in generating visit intentions than affective advertising language.
