Relationships created between brands and consumers are very important to establish loyalty and ensure repeat purchases. Our research examines the different ways that brands can help consumers keep their purchases a secret and how these methods help to develop relationships with the consumers. We also examine how the different secrecy methods affect feelings linked to the brand, such as, guilt, satisfaction, and more. Contemporary careers are changing and face many challenges. This creates a need for innovative cross-cultural and multidisciplinary research. In this chapter, twenty-three participants in a European/South Korean research mega-project provide an overview of their diverse experiences of trans-national, trans-sectoral, and trans-generational work. First, the project’s architects explore the context and rationale in five countries, selection of partners, securing funding and the underpinning principles of ‘strategic entrepreneurship’ and ‘multi-sociation’. Job satisfaction is often fostered through costly strategic human resource management practices, yet small businesses typically lack the required resources to employ such practices. The current study explores other avenues for promoting job satisfaction, namely thriving, which is a psychological state in which individuals experience both a sense of learning and a sense of vitality. By leveraging positive organizational psychology, and examining data collected from B2B salespeople, this study demonstrates the value of relational coordination and supervisor support for enhancing the thriving, and, in turn, job satisfaction of sales professionals among small businesses.

Abstract- This project involved the formulation and test of a model of Austrian consumers' cognitive and affective responses to a vignette television commercial drama for a vacation resort area, the Halkidiki region of Greece. Results indicate that response to the commercial was both cognitive and affective with sympathy and empathy, mediating the influence of verisimilitude on attitudes toward the ad and brand. These results were consistent with what was expected from a sample of consumers from a low power distance and moderate individualistic culture such as Austria. The association between telecommuting, job burnout, and turnover intentions of call center agents has not been fully investigated. To guide researchers interested in replicating our configurational approach to comparative institutional analysis, we report on a methodology that builds from existing state fragility indices to differentiate between types of state fragility in 189 countries across the world. We first present the steps we used to identify three constituent dimensions of state fragility. We then report how we configured these first-order institutional measures to build a large-N, fuzzy set qualitative set analysis (fs/QCA) of variation in the degree and type of informal economic sectors found across the world. How can firms mitigate the impact of moral violations on consumer evaluations? This question has pervaded the business ethics literature. Though prior research has identified decoupling as a moral reasoning strategy where consumers separate moral judgments from evaluations (avoiding moral compromise and dissonance), it is unclear what motivates individuals to decouple. It is the objective of this research to explore regulatory focus theory (i.e., a framework examining consumer mindsets as prevention or promotion orientated) as a motivating factor for moral decoupling.
