Necessity To Integrate Operational Business During M&A: The Effect Of Employees’ Vision And Cultural Openness, Ralf Bebenroth, Robert A. Goehlich

This research investigates the impact of target-firm employees’ vision and cultural openness to integrate their operational business into a bidder firm. Our empirical analyses are performed on a sample of 176 employees of a medium-sized German engineering firm in the waste power plant industry taken over by a Japanese steelmaker. The questionnaire results show that, not the vision of German employees but their cultural openness positively correlates to the perceived need of integration. However, culturally open employees with a clear, articulated vision perceive less need to integrate their operational business into the Japanese bidder firm. This dissertation investigated how personality traits and team criteria influence team performance in real construction projects. Though personality influence on team performance has been significantly investigated in other business sectors, the literature revealed that the construction industry lacks investigations regarding personality influencing team performance. The existing literature revealed that the Big Five Factors (BFF) was the most popular assessment tool for personality. Thus, this dissertation adopted the 50-Item Personality questionnaire developed by Goldberg, which consited of extraversion, aggreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience. هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على واقع الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص في الإقتصاد الفلسطيني، والتعرف على أهم التحديات التي تقف عائقاً يحول دون وجود شراكات حقيقية بين القطاعين العام والخاص، وأهم التسهيلات والمقترحات المتاحة من أجل تعزيز الشراكة. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتوضيح طبيعة الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص.

The study sought to explore the quality of the information circulated in social media platforms and the responsiveness of the government decision makers to using such platforms. Descriptive and analytical tools were utilized to handle and process the information collected from the published sources as well as using a questionnaire survey designed specifically for this study. This study aimed to examine women's life history and work on a successful Thai national leader. Method: An autobiographical research was designed. The data was derived from the self-history and related people; in all, 29 key informants were divided into 5 groups for individual interviews, using a different set of questions during 2019-2020. Due to minimal available findings, Rodell (2016) put out a call for more research on the performance outcomes of community focused behaviors such as volunteering while acknowledging the challenge of connecting “social movements to hard data” (p.79). This study answers that call by evaluating the community citizenship behaviors (CCBs) of leaders and the potential influence on team performance. Purpose: The present conceptual paper sets out to answer the question, can a model of servant leadership be infused within supervision in order to mitigate employee burnout and negative stressful experiences in the health and social care sector.

Design/Approach: A brief targeted review of the literature was undertaken to assess the extent of burnout in the health and social care sectors. The supervision literature was also explored for possible gaps in effectiveness. The author argues that a new leadership approach is needed for these organizations due to the complexities that come with globalization, including the high need for knowledge and experience, distance decay, and cultural amalgamation.
