Autor przedstawia społeczną odpowiedzialność przedsiębiorstw (CSR) w klubach najwyższej ligi rozgrywkowej polskiej piłki nożnej, tj. Ekstraklasy. Praca zawiera wyczerpujący przegląd literatury przedmiotu dotyczącej CSR w sporcie na podstawie bazy SCOPUS. Została przygotowana na podstawie badań jakościowych prowadzonych we wszystkich 16 klubach Ekstraklasy w sezonie 2017/2018. Metoda badań obejmowała trzy etapy: analizę danych zastanych oraz wywiady częściowo ustrukturyzowane z przedstawicielami klubów i trzech najważniejszych grup interesariuszy. Analizuje przejawy społecznej odpowiedzialności przedsiębiorstw, interesariuszy klubu piłkarskiego, a także motywy podejmowania działań związanych z CSR.

Autor opisuje badania zasobowych uwarunkowań przedsiębiorczości w gminach, odwołując się do procesu przedsiębiorczego w kontekście regionalnym i nowej teorii wzrostu. W książce przeanalizowano zasoby, które mają wpływ na proces wzrostu liczby firm funkcjonujących w gminach. Główną zmienną wyjaśnianą jest liczba przedsiębiorstw wpisanych do bazy REGON na 10 tys. mieszkańców. Najważniejszymi zmiennymi wyjaśniającymi są kapitał ludzki, kapitał społeczny, obecność w aglomeracji wojewódzkiej i turystyka. Metody badawcze, które posłużyły do weryfikacji hipotez badawczych, to regresja liniowa oraz wywiady pogłębione.

Determinants Of Startup Funding: The Interaction Between Web Attention And Culture, Jie Ren, Viju Raghupathi, Wullianallur Raghupathi

Journal of International Technology and Information Management

Technology empowers entrepreneurs to pursue alternative funding through platforms like crowdfunding. This research explores significant startup funding factors using Crunchbase. Controlling for common factors (acquisition/funding-rounds/IPO), the research uniquely focuses on web attention - the visibility on social media - and its impact on funding. It also examines the moderating influence of startup’s home country culture (individualism/collectivism). Findings show stronger positive impact of web attention on startup funding for collectivist countries. While individualistic investors value personal goals, collectivists value collaborative goals - inclinations that align with crowdfunding behavior. Therefore while increasing web attention, crowdfunding efforts can be targeted towards collectivist countries.

Very few great ideas in teaching are without ancestors or descendants. This paper presents a case study in how one particular pedagogical project, the work at Saint Louis University as part of the National Science Foundation supported SUMMIT-P consortium, borrowed from other sources. The particular project was an interdisciplinary collaboration to make mathematics education more effective for business students. The various borrowings are treated in roughly chronological order from initial inspiration through planned adoption and adaptation of the work of others to the addition of features that only became available mid-project. Directors who served on the board when a CEO was hired are more likely to remain committed to that CEO following poor firm performance. • For every one hiring director remaining on the board, poorly performing CEOs are 25% more likely to be retained and receive a 25% higher change in pay. • These effects are weaker for more experienced boards, indicating experience reduces the tendency to overcommit to their hand-picked CEOs.

While much existing research on MNC digital transformation has followed a linear design and implementation logic using cross-sectional data, the multiple and divergent needs of headquarters (HQ) and subsidiaries suggest that MNC digital transformation actually involves a more iterative journey. In this paper, we apply the theoretical perspective of embeddedness to better define the complexities of MNC digital transformation, and identify how HQ and subsidiaries can navigate the complexities. This paper utilizes data from Google searches in an attempt to utilize online investor sentiment as a predictor of sector exchange traded fund (ETF) performance. โครงงานพิเศษฉบับนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อทำการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลาก เพื่อนำมาใช้ในการบริหารจัดการธุรกิจรับขนส่งสินค้าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษาแห่งหนึ่ง โดยใช้เครื่องมือทางการเงินซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยระยะเวลาคืนทุนคิดลด (Discounted Payback Period) มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดสุทธิ (NPV) อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุน (BC Ratio) อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการ (IRR) และการวิเคราะห์ความไว มาเป็นเกณฑ์ในการวัดความคุ้มค่าของโครงการว่าควรลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลากหรือไม่ ผลการวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้ของโครงการลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลากในธุรกิจรับขนส่งสินค้าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา มีความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนซื้อรถเพียง 1 คัน โดยมีระยะเวลาคืนทุนคิดลดของโครงการเท่ากับ 4.81 ปี มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดสุทธิ มีค่าเท่ากับ 3,294,788.24 บาท อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุน มีค่าเท่ากับ 6.27 เท่า และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการ มีค่าเท่ากับร้อยละ 29.67 และเมื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์ความไว โดยมีการกำหนดให้ผลตอบแทนลดลงร้อยละ 5 และ 10 ต่อปี และต้นทุนในการดำเนินงานเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 5 และ 10 ต่อปี พบว่า โครงการดังกล่าวยังมีความเป็นไปได้และน่าสนใจลงทุน โดยระยะเวลาคืนทุนยังอยู่ภายใต้ช่วงเวลาที่กำหนด มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดมีค่ามากกว่า 0 และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุนมีค่ามากกว่า 1 และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการมีค่ามากกว่าเกณฑ์ที่บริษัทคาดหวังทุกกรณี ยกเว้นกรณีที่ผลตอบแทนของโครงการลดลงร้อยละ 10 ต่อปีที่อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการมีค่าน้อยกว่าเกณฑ์ที่คาดหวังที่ทำให้โครงการนี้ไม่คุ้มค่าที่จะลงทุน

การวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัยเพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการจัดส่งครุภัณฑ์ของกองทัพเรือที่มีประสิทธิภาพสำหรับการแจกจ่ายครุภัณฑ์สายพลาธิการของกองทัพเรือ รวมไปถึงเปรียบเทียบข้อดี ข้อเสีย และต้นทุนที่เกิดขึ้นของการจัดส่งครุภัณฑ์สายพลาธิการให้กับคลังสาขา ด้วยวิธีขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของกองทัพเรือเอง กับการว่าจ้างบริษัทเอกชนในการขนส่ง โดยทำการเก็บรวมรวมข้อมูลการดำเนินกิจกรรมขนส่งพัสดุสายพลาธิการให้กับคลังสาขาของกองทัพเรือในช่วงปี 2562 ประกอบกับการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกในรายละเอียดของข้อมูลต่าง ๆ เกี่ยวกับต้นทุนในวงจรชีวิตของยานพาหนะที่กองทัพเรือใช้ จากการศึกษาพบว่า ต้นทุนรวมของการขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเอง มีค่าใช้จ่ายที่สูงกว่าการขนส่งโดยว่าจ้างจากภายนอก 348,736.50 บาท ในปี 2562 (802,736.50 - 454,000 บาท) อย่างไรก็ตาม การขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเองมีข้อดีในด้านความรวดเร็ว คล่องตัวและมีความยืดหยุ่นในการใช้งาน จากการศึกษาพบว่าต้นทุนในส่วนของยานพาหนะรถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็กมีค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่สูง ประกอบกับบทสัมภาษณ์ความต้องการใช้ยานพาหนะของเจ้าหน้าที่ที่ปฏิบัติในส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องเห็นว่ารถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็กยังมีความจำเป็นในการใช้ปฏิบัติราชการอยู่ ดังนั้น รูปแบบการขนส่งที่เหมาะสม คือ การขนส่งโดยว่าจ้างจากภายนอก ควบคู่การการขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเองด้วยยานหนะรถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็ก สำหรับการขนส่งระยะใกล้ (พื้นที่สัตหีบ)

งานวิจัยนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อวิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดเรียงและขนส่งสินค้าระหว่างการจัดเรียงพาเลทสินค้าชั้นเดียวบนรถบรรทุกโดยการบรรจุกล่องสินค้าลงบนพาเลทไม้ซึ่งเป็นวิธีที่ใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบันกับการจัดเรียงพาเลทสินค้าซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นวิธีใหม่โดยการนำกล่องสินค้าบรรจุลงในตะกร้าเหล็กแล้ววางตะกร้าเหล็กซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นบนรถบรรทุก งานวิจัยนี้ประกอบไปด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ โดยมีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในอดีตที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการขนส่งสินค้าและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับบุคคลากรที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการดำเนินงานจัดเรียง จัดส่งและทำรับสินค้า แล้วนำข้อมูลที่รวบรวมได้นั้นมาคำนวณประมาณการความต้องการการขนส่งและต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการขนส่งเปรียบเทียบระหว่างวิธีการจัดเรียงสินค้าทั้ง 2 วิธี ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการจัดเรียงสินค้าจากการวางพาเลทสินค้าชั้นเดียวมาเป็นการจัดเรียงกล่องสินค้าลงตะกร้าเหล็กและจัดเรียงตะกร้าเหล็กซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นบนรถบรรทุกนั้น ช่วยลดต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการขนส่งได้ถึง 5,024,923 บาทต่อปีหรือประมาณ 52 เปอร์เซ็น ซึ่งสามารถนำมาใช้เป็นแนวทางให้บริษัทกรณีศึกษานำไปใช้ในการปรับปรุงกระบวนการดำเงินงาน รวมถึงการจัดสรรทรัพยากรให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น เพื่อเป็นการช่วยลดต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายด้านการขนส่งสินค้า

Traditionally, the three central roles identified for higher education are frequently listed as learning and teaching, research and scholarship and engagement with society. Within Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) we have recognised that these roles are interconnected and should not be approached in isolation and should not remain in silos. Rather, these areas should be integrated and embedded across core university activities. In doing so, community engagement becomes a real way of engaging students, faculty and community partners in areas of mutual interest and concern.
