JOHNSON CITY (Feb. 6, 2020) – Over the past two decades, scholars have begun to study how African American history in the U.S. is often misrepresented or completely disregarded compared to other historical narratives. Key moments and people in African American history have often been neglected or trivialized in museum spaces.

During concept development, product developers consider product users and their future experience, cost, development and manufacturing efficiency, product function/quality, and differentiation of the product in the market. Development teams often struggle to adequately address all of these considerations, due to the following reasons: (1) Differences in technological and experiential knowledge, methods used, and communication styles that make it difficult for customers/user, marketing, and engineering to communicate effectively. In a warming world where environmentally friendly corporations and products are undeniably a necessary component of mitigation, it is important to examine how this need maybe exploited for profit. This research examines three print and one online advertisement for Coca-Cola's Dasani plantbottles to discern what rhetorical and visual appeals were used to mark the product as "green" Analysis reveals that cultural meanings of nature were drawn on to create symbols that were appealing and represented the product as clean, fresh, and natural. This study aims to provide an overview for issuers related to investors' behavior in using the values presented in financial statements in the information technology era, by measuring the moderation effect of intangible assets on the relevance of earnings and book value of equity on stock prices. It tested using a price multiple moderated regression model and LQ45 indexed issuers on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2018 as a sample. This study examines multiple local stakeholders’ perceptions of film tourism impacts to shed light on the complexities of film tourism planning and development, using a longitudinal exploratory research approach. The Japanese TV series Mare (2015) was chosen as the case study. Qualitative interviews with various local stakeholders were conducted over a 21-month-long period of a film tourism development project in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The study found that this film tourism project was initiated with high expectations. Global supply chains power 80% of world trade, but also host widespread environmental, labor, and human rights abuses in developing countries. Most scholarship focuses on some form of sanction to motivate supply chain members, but we propose that the fundamental problem is not insufficient punishment, but a lack of trust. A Multimodal Analysis Using An Exemplar From Japanese Television Advertising, Noel Murray

A multimodal analysis is used to investigate for the presence of situated meanings of uchi/soto in Japanese advertising. The analysis supports the proposition that discourses of gendered relations of uchi/soto may be found in contemporary Japanese television advertising. The article argues that relations of uchi/soto provide a unique window into Japanese consumption behavior. I advocate for multimodal critical discourse analysis as a preferred methodology and theoretical framework for multimodal advertising research applications. I discuss social and economic implications of reproducing gendered relations of uchi/soto in advertising and offer suggestions for future research on situated meanings.

Although research on work-related passion has progressed rapidly over the last decade, much remains unknown.
