The purpose of this study is to analyze and discuss the current discrepancies in the legal system as it applies to medical marijuana in the employment sector. The laws regarding the legalization of medical marijuana are relatively new and have many constraints when applied to employment. On the federal level, medical marijuana remains illegal. Many states have passed some form of legislation legalizing medical marijuana. Unfortunately, only two states have laws that protect users from being discriminated in employment. This leaves employers and employees uncertain about what actions to take when dealing with medical marijuana in the employment sector.

The case study was conducted to determine the effects of the cleanliness of the guest rooms and the effects to the hotels bottom line in implementing Activeion’s Ionator EXP as a new cleaning method to be used in the hotel guest rooms by the room attendants as opposed to the traditional cleaning method using 5 different cleaning chemicals to clean the guest rooms. The Ionator EXP is a chemical-free cleaning system. It is a hand held cleaning spray bottle unit that holds, cleans, and sanitizes with water. The Ionator EXP uses ionization, electricity and oxygen to clean.

Temple Stay program is a newly developed but comparatively mature tourism product in Korea, which is to accommodate and cater tourists in Buddhist temples and have them experience over 1700 years Korean traditions of Buddhism and culture. As a product of compromise between Korean Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the most influential Buddhist organization Jogye Order, Temple Stay program was first launched in 2002 during FIFA World Cup to receive excessive international tourists. The purpose of this study was to develop specifications for a mobile application for meeting and conference attendees. The set of features was determined by comparing the current offerings of mobile applications for meetings and conferences. There was a discussion of the purpose of meetings and conferences, followed by a review of the history of meetings technology. The mobile software development process was also explored. The paper resulted in the creation of flow charts and wire-frame outlines that would be used to develop a mobile application for meetings and conferences.

In the hospitality industry, labor costs are very high; in fact, they amount to approximately 45% of operating costs. Purdue University has recently purchased and deployed a new fleet of aircraft that include a cutting edge avionics suite with flight data monitoring technology. This technology gathers data during flight on airframe, powerplant, and flight parameters of the airplane. This study evaluated how the new technologies influenced the inspection process of the airplanes, as well as highlight new skills required by the inspectors to utilize the technologies. Economic theory and empirical evidence have clearly established the links between trade, productivity and economic growth. Countries that have large internal markets have also benefitted from integrating into the world economy and opening up their economies. World trade in 2009 amounted to $12 trillion. The size of Pakistan’s domestic market is only $180 billion. Even a 0.5 percent share in the global export market implies that our exports could rise to $60 billion. This project’s objective is to demonstrate how public transportation is altering the way Que Delicious, a local restaurant, reaches out to new customers. The effects of public transportation on a business are significant reasons explaining why Que Delicious, a business in East Los Angeles, exists within a particular market that was disrupted by the Metro Gold Line which was built in front of the business.
