When a nation attempts to erase the history of a marginalized group, the preservation of such narratives becomes critical. The genuine culture of a nation is exposed when that which officials attempted to hide is analyzed. The comfort women scheme conducted by the Imperial Japanese Government serves as an example of this phenomenon. The comfort women system was more than sex trafficking; it was the climax of a sexist society. Japan had a long history of organized prostitution before the Second World War, but during the conflict, the demeaning actions committed against women extended beyond the nation. Electronic cigarettes are one of the most commonly used methods of nicotine delivery, especially among the adolescent population. Due to the lack of regulation in manufacturer labeling of refillable nicotine solutions (e-liquids), the actual concentration of nicotine and other additives is variable as compared to the reported values. Misreporting of nicotine content is a contributor in the development of nicotine dependency and potentially tobacco product dependency. The objective of this research is to develop reliable analytical methods to study the variations in nicotine levels in e-liquids, and to identify and quantify other potentially harmful additives in e-liquids. On July 1, 2021, the NCAA put together a NIL policy that all athletes across all divisions can benefit from their brands (Jessop & Sabin, 2021). The International Association of Machinists (IAM) was formed in 1888 in Atlanta, GA. By 1918, IAM had a membership of 331,000. Lodge #1030, named the “Liberty Lodge” was organized on March 20, 1918 in Chanute, Kansas by J.J. Dowling.

Grover Exley was born in 1885 to Thomas and Martha (Morris) Exley. He married Carrie Belle Raymond (1879 - 1960). Together the two had a son named Thomas Raymond Exley (1916 - 1998). Thomas served as an Aeronautical Engineer in San Diego, California during World War II. Grover was a postal worker in Pittsburg, Kansas. Grover Exley passed away in 1961.

This collection consists of correspondence, newspapers, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, and transcripts relating to the Jayhawk Ordnance Works.

The Jayhawk Ordnance Works were built near Galena, Kansas during World War II to produce ammonium nitrate. After the war it was privatized by its operator Kenneth Aldred Spencer and at one point was the world’s largest producer of ammonium nitrate fertilizer. The plant is still in operation as the Jayhawk Fine Chemicals Corporation.

CALGreen encourages local governments to go beyond statewide Energy Code regulations to achieve greater building energy efficiency and cost savings, all while providing the necessary resources to do so. The currently enforced version of CALGreen is the 2019 CALGreen code. Mandates and voluntary provisions in the 2022 CALGreen update will go into effect January 1, 2023.¹ If both the 2022 Energy Code and 2022 CALGreen mandatory and voluntary standards were to be adopted statewide, the carbon reductions would be equivalent to removing 8,000 fuel-powered cars off the road for the first year and 24,000 fuel-powered cars by the third year.² …
