The Effects Of Localisation Decisions On New Product Superiority And Performance: Empirical Research On Consumer-Goods Subsidiaries, Firmanzah Jusmaliani

New products, while essential, are risky and expensive for subsidiaries. The main objective of this research is to determine success factors for new product launch (NPL) by subsidiaries operating in developing countries. It is argued that localisation of NPL decisions contributes positively to new product superiority and commercial performance, with partial least squares used to test the hypothesis. The results show that localisation of innovation decisions increases localisation of branding and commercialisation decisions in the local market. However, localisation of commercialisation decisions positively influences new product superiority, while localisation of innovation decisions reduces this superiority. This study propose the addition of a spiritual dimension in the formation of customer value, in addition to the functional, social and emotional dimension of customer value that has already been empirically tested in previous studies, among customers who own saving products at Islamic banks in Indonesia. The study also investigate the relationship between customer value and customer satisfaction, and the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer behavioral intentions among these Islamic banks customers. Previous studies indicate that religion may influence consumer attitude and behavior in general, especially in food purchasing decisions and eating habits. There are limited studies that examined the role of religiosity in consumer behaviour; especially in relations to halal meat consumption. Research Aims: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of transformational leadership dimensions (TL) and job-based psychological ownership (PO) on nonfamily employee international intrapreneurship in family firms (FFs). Design/methodology/approach: The study adopted a sample of 246 key role nonfamily employees at 118 family-owned export and import SMEs in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The data are analysed using a partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Research Aims: The digitalization of work forced by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has led to excessive job demands that might reduce psychological well-being. Hence, this study aims to explore the relationship between digital leadership and psychological well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic situation. A logistic regression analysis was performed to test for associations between well-being and digital leadership skills. Design/methodology/approach: This study employed a mixed-method research approach in which the scale observations of taxpayers’ tax compliance practices and the taxpayers' lived experiences and perspectives about tax where integrated. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of CEO popularity on banking performance at the earlier stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The CEO popularity significantly improve based on their achievements in the public mass media. Monetary Policy And Corporate Risk-Taking: Evidence From An Emerging Market, Quoc Trung Tran, Thi Thuy Trang Truong

The Indonesian Capital Market Review

This study examines how monetary loosening influences risk-taking of companies listed in Vietnamese stock exchanges in the period from 2009 to 2019. Our research sample consists of 4,358 observations from 566 listed firms. Using the Pooled OLS regression model, we find that expansionary policy increases corporate risk-taking. Our research findings also demonstrate that firms with high leverage engage more in risk-taking activities, while firm size, state ownership and foreign ownership negatively affects corporate risk-taking. This study aims to determine success factors on equity-based crowdfunding project fundraising in several countries in Asia. We evaluated three categories of factors: campaign characteristics, human capital factors, and social capital factors. We evaluate models using 201 project samples on various platforms from Indonesia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Israel, and South Korea from January 2018 until December 2019. This research examines the relationship between banking risk and the share price of governmentbanks in Indonesia. This research also discusses the moderating role of inflation towards banking risk and share price. This research employs the multiple regression analysis using the fixed-effect model to estimate the influence of banking risk on the share price and the role of inflation as a moderator variable. This study investigates the dynamics of information flow between foreign currencies and theJakarta Composite Index (JKSE) in the pre-, during and post-2014 Indonesian Presidential elections. Based on a systematic analytical framework, the study provides a clearer picture to link the foreign currencies of trade partners to Jakarta Stock Exchange. Using the VAR model with daily data from 2 January 2013 to 31 July 2015, our results show: First, JKSE appears to be endogenous during the pre-election period.
