The objectives of the study were: (1) to evaluate the processed farm-cultured catfish business in its embryonic stage during 1968 in terms of a systematic managerial planning model (MPH); (2) to focus on the managerial strategy of market segmentation and determine the relationships between the number of processed farm-cultured catfish sales and selected economic and socio-economic determinants or consumer market behavior. From the evaluation of the processed farm-cultured catfish business as it existed in 1968, it was suggestive that the planning process was not implemented thoroughly. An Application Of Organizational Development In An Institution Of Higher Learning, Stanford R. Bohne

An action research model was used to assess the application of Organizational Development theory, strategies, and interventions in the Business and Financial Affairs area of an institution of higher learning. Initial assessment indicated that a group of seven top managers of Business and Financial Affairs had low morale, a low trust level, lack of clarity of goals, and lack of teamwork. Results suggested that significant increases had occurred over the last 34-month period on measures of group development. It was concluded that such strategies merit further application and evaluation.

Albuquerque is the population center of Bernalillo County and of the State of New Mexico. This thesis was undertaken to investigate the popularity of mobile homes within the county since 1965, and to determine the market potential of mobile homes within the county through 1975.

The purposes of this study were: (a) to explain the nature of the existing bilateral oligapolistic situation in the ready-to-eat (RTE) breakfast cereal industry; (b) to clarify the role of marketing as an instrument in the product and service competition within the industry; and (c) to develop an explanatory framework which describes the causal relationships among the possible marketing barriers as well as the attendant risk and uncertainty in new cereal investment.

This study attempts to explore the possibilities of developing Bayesian decision theory as a descriptive behavioral model for depicting and predicting the general and basic rationality underlying managerial decision-making behavior under certain circumstances. A laboratory controlled experiment approach was employed for this study, In May of 1969, forty sophomores on the campus of the University of New Mexico were selected to serve as subjects.
