Facility location decisions serve an important role in setting up efficient and cost-effective supply chains. While metropolitan areas may appear an obvious choice for many companies, nonmetropolitan areas deserve consideration. In the past, nonmetropolitan areas have been broadly classified as “rural” with reports of economic decline. This research looks beyond the general category of nonmetropolitan by dividing the area into micropolitan statistical areas and non-core statistical areas. The authors use U.S. Census data from the years 2010 to 2016 to analyze changes in population, median household income, retail employment, and retail salaries in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. The purpose of this research is to identify the evolution of papers published on LGBT issues in the main marketing journals. To that end, the 50 top-ranked journals in the SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) were analyzed, revealing that 17 of them had at least one publication on the subject. Analysis of a total of 34 articles enabled the main topics studied to be summarized in six categories: the effects of LGBT advertising on the viewers; LGBT advertising – an overview; gender studies in marketing; the gay-friendly approach; the LGBT market; and social marketing.

The present work utilizes research on context effects and color psychology to investigate how background color can enhance the effectiveness of positive and negative charity appeals. Five experiments measuring both actual donations and donation intention examine the hypothesis that a negative charity appeal against an orange (vs. blue) background and a positive charity appeal against a blue (vs. orange) background will increase donations. We propose that this is because blue and orange colors are incongruous with positive and negative charity appeals, respectively, due to the affective valences of the appeals and the perceptions of warmth and coldness cued by the …

However, the effect of user involvement in supply chain cloud innovation has not been thoroughly studied, particularly its effect on product cost and optimal price. The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) is a public-private partnership between a landlord, voucher holder, and a Public Housing Authority (PHA). However, this public-private partnership appears to be a two-sided partnership instead of a three-way partnership as the HCVP was designed. Over 110,000 landlords have withdrawn from the HCVP since 2009, which has negatively affected housing choices for voucher holders. This phenomenon of landlords leaving the HCVP is a catastrophe problem for the rental housing crisis that is a part of the larger affordable housing crisis. โครงงานพิเศษฉบับนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อทำการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลาก เพื่อนำมาใช้ในการบริหารจัดการธุรกิจรับขนส่งสินค้าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษาแห่งหนึ่ง โดยใช้เครื่องมือทางการเงินซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยระยะเวลาคืนทุนคิดลด (Discounted Payback Period) มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดสุทธิ (NPV) อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุน (BC Ratio) อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการ (IRR) และการวิเคราะห์ความไว มาเป็นเกณฑ์ในการวัดความคุ้มค่าของโครงการว่าควรลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลากหรือไม่ ผลการวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้ของโครงการลงทุนซื้อรถบรรทุกหัวลากในธุรกิจรับขนส่งสินค้าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา มีความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนซื้อรถเพียง 1 คัน โดยมีระยะเวลาคืนทุนคิดลดของโครงการเท่ากับ 4.81 ปี มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดสุทธิ มีค่าเท่ากับ 3,294,788.24 บาท อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุน มีค่าเท่ากับ 6.27 เท่า และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการ มีค่าเท่ากับร้อยละ 29.67 และเมื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์ความไว โดยมีการกำหนดให้ผลตอบแทนลดลงร้อยละ 5 และ 10 ต่อปี และต้นทุนในการดำเนินงานเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 5 และ 10 ต่อปี พบว่า โครงการดังกล่าวยังมีความเป็นไปได้และน่าสนใจลงทุน โดยระยะเวลาคืนทุนยังอยู่ภายใต้ช่วงเวลาที่กำหนด มูลค่าปัจจุบันของกระแสเงินสดมีค่ามากกว่า 0 และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุนมีค่ามากกว่า 1 และอัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการมีค่ามากกว่าเกณฑ์ที่บริษัทคาดหวังทุกกรณี ยกเว้นกรณีที่ผลตอบแทนของโครงการลดลงร้อยละ 10 ต่อปีที่อัตราส่วนผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการมีค่าน้อยกว่าเกณฑ์ที่คาดหวังที่ทำให้โครงการนี้ไม่คุ้มค่าที่จะลงทุน

การวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัยเพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการจัดส่งครุภัณฑ์ของกองทัพเรือที่มีประสิทธิภาพสำหรับการแจกจ่ายครุภัณฑ์สายพลาธิการของกองทัพเรือ รวมไปถึงเปรียบเทียบข้อดี ข้อเสีย และต้นทุนที่เกิดขึ้นของการจัดส่งครุภัณฑ์สายพลาธิการให้กับคลังสาขา ด้วยวิธีขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของกองทัพเรือเอง กับการว่าจ้างบริษัทเอกชนในการขนส่ง โดยทำการเก็บรวมรวมข้อมูลการดำเนินกิจกรรมขนส่งพัสดุสายพลาธิการให้กับคลังสาขาของกองทัพเรือในช่วงปี 2562 ประกอบกับการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกในรายละเอียดของข้อมูลต่าง ๆ เกี่ยวกับต้นทุนในวงจรชีวิตของยานพาหนะที่กองทัพเรือใช้ จากการศึกษาพบว่า ต้นทุนรวมของการขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเอง มีค่าใช้จ่ายที่สูงกว่าการขนส่งโดยว่าจ้างจากภายนอก 348,736.50 บาท ในปี 2562 (802,736.50 - 454,000 บาท) อย่างไรก็ตาม การขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเองมีข้อดีในด้านความรวดเร็ว คล่องตัวและมีความยืดหยุ่นในการใช้งาน จากการศึกษาพบว่าต้นทุนในส่วนของยานพาหนะรถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็กมีค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่สูง ประกอบกับบทสัมภาษณ์ความต้องการใช้ยานพาหนะของเจ้าหน้าที่ที่ปฏิบัติในส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องเห็นว่ารถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็กยังมีความจำเป็นในการใช้ปฏิบัติราชการอยู่ ดังนั้น รูปแบบการขนส่งที่เหมาะสม คือ การขนส่งโดยว่าจ้างจากภายนอก ควบคู่การการขนส่งด้วยยานพาหนะของตัวเองด้วยยานหนะรถยนต์บรรทุกขนาดเล็ก สำหรับการขนส่งระยะใกล้ (พื้นที่สัตหีบ)

งานวิจัยนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อวิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดเรียงและขนส่งสินค้าระหว่างการจัดเรียงพาเลทสินค้าชั้นเดียวบนรถบรรทุกโดยการบรรจุกล่องสินค้าลงบนพาเลทไม้ซึ่งเป็นวิธีที่ใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบันกับการจัดเรียงพาเลทสินค้าซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นวิธีใหม่โดยการนำกล่องสินค้าบรรจุลงในตะกร้าเหล็กแล้ววางตะกร้าเหล็กซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นบนรถบรรทุก งานวิจัยนี้ประกอบไปด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ โดยมีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในอดีตที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการขนส่งสินค้าและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับบุคคลากรที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการดำเนินงานจัดเรียง จัดส่งและทำรับสินค้า แล้วนำข้อมูลที่รวบรวมได้นั้นมาคำนวณประมาณการความต้องการการขนส่งและต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการขนส่งเปรียบเทียบระหว่างวิธีการจัดเรียงสินค้าทั้ง 2 วิธี ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการจัดเรียงสินค้าจากการวางพาเลทสินค้าชั้นเดียวมาเป็นการจัดเรียงกล่องสินค้าลงตะกร้าเหล็กและจัดเรียงตะกร้าเหล็กซ้อนกัน 2 ชั้นบนรถบรรทุกนั้น ช่วยลดต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการขนส่งได้ถึง 5,024,923 บาทต่อปีหรือประมาณ 52 เปอร์เซ็น ซึ่งสามารถนำมาใช้เป็นแนวทางให้บริษัทกรณีศึกษานำไปใช้ในการปรับปรุงกระบวนการดำเงินงาน รวมถึงการจัดสรรทรัพยากรให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น เพื่อเป็นการช่วยลดต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายด้านการขนส่งสินค้า

This study investigates the impact of four subcategories of flight delays on total flight delays over the period from May 2005 through December 2019. Total flight delays are divided into weather, air carrier, security, and non-weather National Aviation System (NAS) delays. Using the flight data provided by the Air Travel Consumer Report of the U.S. Department of Transportation for a consistent set of ten airlines, each time- series is decomposed. Problem definition: In 1992, FDA instituted the accelerated approval pathway (AP) to allow promising drugs to enter the market based on limited evidence of efficacy, thereby permitting manufacturers to verify true clinical benefits through post-market studies. However, most postmarket studies have not been completed as promised. We address this non-compliance problem.

Academic/Practical Relevance: The prevalence of this non-compliance problem poses considerable public health risk, thus compromising the original purpose of a well-intentioned AP initiative. We provide an internally consistent and implementable solution to the problem through a comprehensive analysis of the myriad complicating factors and tradeoffs facing FDA.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการขุดลอกร่องน้ำชายฝั่งทะเลของประเทศไทยเปรียบเทียบกับพิธีสารลอนดอน 1996 ขององค์การทางทะเลระหว่างประเทศที่มีผลใช้บังคับในปี ค.ศ. 2006 และการดำเนินงานในประเทศอื่นอีก 3 ประเทศ คือ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ และประเทศสิงคโปร์ เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการขุดลอกร่องน้ำของประเทศไทยที่มีความเป็นมาตรฐานสากลและเป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม สำหรับประเทศไทยมีการขุดลอกร่องน้ำชายฝั่งทะเลโดยกรมเจ้าท่าเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยการขุดลอกร่องน้ำนั้นมีขั้นตอนที่สำคัญ คือ การขุดลอกร่องน้ำและการขนย้ายวัสดุขุดลอก ซึ่งทั้งสองขั้นตอนนี้อาจก่อให้เกิดผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพของมนุษย์และสิ่งแวดล้อมทางทะเล ผลการศึกษาแสดงว่าแนวทางในการปฏิบัติตามพิธีสารลอนดอน 1996 และในประเทศกรณีศึกษาทั้ง 3 ประเทศ มีขั้นตอนการประเมินวัสดุก่อนที่จะมีการทิ้งเทเพื่อลดผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพของมนุษย์และสิ่งแวดล้อมทางทะเลรวมทั้งสิ้นแปดขั้นตอน ในปัจจุบันประเทศไทยยังไม่ได้เข้าร่วมเป็นภาคีพิธีสารลอนดอน 1996 แต่ประเทศไทยสามารถนำแนวทางการประเมินวัสดุตามพิธีสารลอนดอน 1996 มาเป็นแนวทางปฏิบัติการขุดลอกร่องน้ำชายฝั่งทะเล เพื่อเป็นการลดและป้องกันผลกระทบที่อาจเกิดขึ้น ทั้งนี้ในการดำเนินการอาจมีค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มมากขึ้นแต่จะทำให้ประเทศไทยมีการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอวิธีการวางแผนการผลิตโดยใช้แนวคิดระบบผลักและดึงร่วมกัน พร้อมทั้งเสนอนโยบายพัสดุคงคลังทั้งในระดับสินค้าสำเร็จรูปและชิ้นส่วนการผลิต สำหรับธุรกิจ SMEs ประเภทการผลิตแบบประกอบโดยมีประเด็นที่น่าสนใจ คือ ผลิตภัณฑ์ของบริษัทกรณีศึกษามีลักษณะเป็น Make to Stock และ Assemble to Order ที่ใช้ทรัพยากรการผลิตร่วมกัน ทั้งสายการผลิต ชิ้นส่วนการผลิต และวัตถุดิบ ปัจจุบันพบความล่าช้าในการส่งมอบเกินจากที่บริษัทยอมรับได้ 11% งานวิจัยนี้เริ่มต้นจากการรวบรวมข้อมูลการดำเนินงานของบริษัทและนำมาวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณความต้องการ กำลังการผลิต และค่าใช้จ่ายพัสดุคงคลัง เพื่อใช้ในการกำหนดเงื่อนไขว่ากระบวนการผลิตควรใช้ระบบผลักหรือดึง จากนั้นจึงทำการกำหนดนโยบายพัสดุคงคลังจากการศึกษาลักษณะรูปแบบความต้องการของลูกค้า ระยะเวลานำ ความแปรปรวนที่เกิดขึ้นในแต่ละช่วงเวลา รวมไปถึงค่าใช้จ่ายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการบริหารพัสดุคงคลัง จึงได้นำเสนอ นโยบายระดับคงคลังเป้าหมาย (OUL) สำหรับสินค้าสำเร็จรูป เนื่องจากข้อจำกัดด้านกำลังการผลิต และเสนอนโยบายปริมาณการสั่งซื้อที่ประหยัด (EOQ) สำหรับชิ้นส่วนการผลิต จากการเปรียบเทียบต้นทุนการสั่งผลิตและต้นทุนการถือครอง จากรูปแบบกระบวนการผลิตผลักและดึงรวมทั้งนโยบายพัสดุคงคลังที่นำเสนอ ได้ถูกนำไปทดสอบการจำลองการวางแผนการผลิตด้วยโปรแกรม Microsoft Excel พบว่า วิธีที่นำเสนอสามารถใช้ระบบดึงกับชิ้นส่วนแผ่นเหล็กได้ 5 รายการและสินค้าสำเร็จรูปได้ 7 รายการ นอกจากนี้นโยบายพัสดุงคลังใหม่ที่นำเสนอสามารถเพิ่มอัตราการเติมเต็มพัสดุได้ 7 ผลิตภัณฑ์ ส่วนอีก 5 ผลิตภัณฑ์ยังสามารถรักษาอัตราการเติมเต็มได้ที่ 100% ส่วนค่าใช้จ่ายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพัสดุคงคลังทั้งหมดลดลง 29.9% หรือคิดเป็นมูลค่า 92,000 บาทโดยประมาณ

Virtually everything we own was transported by truck at some point. Around 3.5 million truck drivers haul almost 71% of U.S. freight. To ensure the safety of our roadways, the U.S. government requires all drivers to pass urinalysis drug screens. However, urinalysis drug screens are easily thwarted and some trucking companies use hair drug screens, a more stringent test. This research examines trucking industry data and finds about 300,000 truck drivers would be removed from their positions if forced to pass a hair drug test. Also during this time, the airline industry focused on a business model that was driven by an emphasis on asset utilization. This was driven by increasing the load factor to increase cost efficiencies through economies of scale so that the return on invested capital could be improved by reducing the operating costs. งานวิจัยนี้ศึกษากระบวนการจัดการโลจิสติกส์เพื่อมนุษยธรรมที่หน่วยงานผู้บริจาคดำเนินการเพื่อบริจาคหน้ากากอนามัยให้แก่สภากาชาดไทยที่มีความล่าช้า ใช้เวลาตลอดทั้งกระบวนการถึง 29 วันในปัจจุบัน โดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ปฏิบัติงานจริง ออกแบบเป็นแผนผังสถานะปัจจุบัน วิเคราะห์ด้วยทฤษฎีแผนผังสายธารคุณค่า (VSM) เพื่อจำแนกคุณค่าของกิจกรรมและระบุความสูญเปล่า จากนั้นวิเคราะห์หาสายงานวิกฤต (Critical Path) ด้วยเทคนิคระเบียบวิธีวิกฤต (CPM) เพื่อแก้ไขให้มีขนาดสั้นที่สุด จัดลำดับกิจกรรม จนได้กระบวนการจัดการโลจิสติกส์แบบใหม่ออกมาในรูปแบบไดอะแกรม เพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในอนาคต ผลที่ได้จากการวิเคราะห์ด้วย VSM โดยการกำจัดกิจกรรมที่ไม่จำเป็น การรวบหลายๆ กิจกรรมเข้าด้วยกันเพื่อลดขั้นตอนและลดระยะเวลาในการดำเนินงาน และวิเคราะห์โครงข่ายงานหาสายงานวิกฤตและปรับปรุงให้มีขนาดสั้นที่สุด พบว่ากระบวนการจัดการโลจิสติกส์แบบใหม่สามารถลดกิจกรรมจาก 24 กิจกรรม เหลือ 14 กิจกรรม คิดเป็นร้อยละ 41.6 ลดระยะเวลาในการดำเนินการ จาก 29 วันทำการ เหลือ 10 วันทำการ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 65.5 กระบวนการจัดการโลจิสติกส์แบบใหม่นี้จะช่วยให้หน้ากากอนามัยถึงมือผู้ประสบภัยได้รวดเร็วมากยิ่งขึ้น ช่วยลดการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 ในประเทศไทย สอดคล้องกับการจัดการโลจิสติกส์เพื่อมนุษยธรรมในสถานการณ์ภัยพิบัติ

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการพัฒนาแบบจำลองสถานการณ์ของการวางแผนขนส่งน้ำมันทางเรือจำนวน 3 ประเภทจากโรงกลั่นกรุงเทพมหานครไปเติมที่คลังน้ำมันปลายทางสุราษฎร์ธานีภายใต้ความไม่แน่นอนของอุปสงค์และความพร้อมของทรัพยากร อุปสงค์น้ำมันถูกจำลองขึ้นมาเทคนิคมอนติคาร์โล ขณะที่ตัวแปรในการปฏิบัติงานที่ส่งผลต่อแบบจำลองประกอบด้วย ระดับน้ำมันในถัง จำนวนและขนาดบรรทุกของเรือ ความพร้อมของเรือขนส่งในสัญญา และความพร้อมของท่าเรือ และแบบจำลองถูกสร้างเพื่อวิเคราะห์ผลลัพธ์ตามเงื่อนไขเมื่อมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงปริมาณบรรทุกของเรือขนส่งและนโยบายการเติมสินค้า จากสถานการณ์ปัจจุบันที่กำหนดนโยบายการเติมสินค้าแบบ 70/70/70 ซึ่งเป็นการกำหนดจุดเติมสินค้าเมื่อถังมีพื้นที่ว่าง 70 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ผลลัพธ์จากแบบจำลองแสดงให้เห็นว่าการวางแผนขนส่งด้วยเรือ 2 ลำ ที่ปริมาณบรรทุกรวม 3.2 ล้านลิตร ทำให้เกิดต้นทุนรวมค่าขนส่งต่ำที่สุด สำหรับนโยบายทางเลือกที่ปรับปรุงจุดเติมสินค้าของน้ำมันดีเซลหมุนเร็วเมื่อถังมีพื้นที่ว่าง 60 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ได้ส่งผลต่ออรรถประโยชน์ในการใช้เรือเพิ่มขึ้น การลดลงของน้ำมันขาดมือที่คลังปลายทาง และต้นทุนรวมค่าขนส่งที่ลดลง จากผลลัพธ์แสดงให้เห็นว่าประสิทธิภาพในการปฏิบัติงานและต้นทุนมีผลกระทบมาจากนโยบายการเติมสินค้าและจำนวนเรือขนส่ง

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนซื้อรถขนส่งสินค้าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา เพื่อทดแทนการใช้บริการรถขนส่งภายนอกและวิเคราะห์หาจำนวนรถขนส่งที่เหมาะสม นำมาประกอบการตัดสินใจการลงทุนโดยได้แบ่งกรอบการวิจัยครั้งนี้ออกเป็น 3 ส่วน การวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบต้นทุนการขนส่งเพื่อหาจำนวนรถที่เหมาะสม, การวิเคราะห์ประสิทธิภาพในการการจัดการการขนส่งโดยประเมินการใช้ประโยชน์ของรถบรรทุก และการวิเคราะห์ทางการเงินเพื่อศึกษาความคุ้มค่า ผู้วิจัยได้วิเคราะห์ความต้องการการใช้รถบรรทุกขนส่ง6ล้อ ของปี พ.ศ. 2562 พบว่าเฉลี่ยใช้จำนวน6คันต่อวัน จากนั้นวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบต้นทุนระหว่างการขนส่งโดยบริหารรถขนส่งเองและว่าจ้างผู้ให้บริการขนส่งภายนอก จัดเส้นทางการเดินรถขนส่ง โดยจำลองออกเป็น3ทางเลือก ระหว่างการใช้บริการผู้ให้บริการขนส่งภายนอกทั้งหมด, การบริหารรถขนส่งด้วยตนเองทั้งหมด และ ใช้ทั้ง2แบบร่วมกัน เพื่อหาจำนวนรถที่เหมาะสมที่สุด ผลการศึกษาพบว่าจำนวนรถที่เหมาะที่สุดคือ2คัน โดยก่อให้เกิดต้นทุนต่ำที่สุด มีการใช้ประโยชน์สูงถึง 97% ต่อมาวิเคราะห์ทางการเงินเพื่อศึกษาความคุ้มค่า เป็น3กรณี ต้นทุนเพิ่มขึ้นทั้งหมด 5%ต่อปี ต่างกันที่รายได้คงที่และลดลง 1-2% ตามลำดับ ซึ่งผลคือโครงการนี้ยังคุ้มค่าแก่การลงทุนแม้รายได้จะคงที่ เนื่องจากมีระยะเวลาคืนทุนคิดลดน้อยกว่าระยะเวลาโครงการ ผลตอบแทนสุทธิของโครงการมากกว่า 0 เท่ากับ 2,028,671.88 บาท , 1,033,734.31 และ 113,481.68 บาทตามลำดับ อัตราผลตอบแทนต่อต้นทุนเท่ากับ 1.44 เท่า,1.22 เท่า และ 1.02 เท่า แม้ว่าอัตราผลตอบแทนภายในโครงการจะน้อยกว่าอัตราที่บริษัทกำหนดไว้(15%) ได้เพียง 6.87%, 4.04% และ 0.53%
