This study aims to identify the impact of famous people on social media platforms on university students. The qualitative methodology and inductive approach were used in the research by conducting in-depth interviews with 21 students from various Jordanian universities, and a focus group of 7 university students was selected, with 12 female influencers and 21 male influencers among them. Across the country health systems are facing increasing drug shortages that are forcing pharmacists to rely far more heavily on compounding to meet the needs of patients. Additionally, several high-profile compounding incidents have helped highlight the importance of ensuring best practices are followed during sterile and nonsterile compounding to support patient safety and high-quality care. Specifically, in 2022, 160 drug shortages were reported in pharmacies. From January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023, 47 drug shortages were reported, 55% of which were for injectables. In response, compounding has increasingly become a solution to bridge that gap.

Michigan's dental profession faces a severe workforce shortage, with 248 designated shortage areas. The Michigan Dental Association is prioritizing support for registered dental assistants (RDAs) to reverse this trend. The Dental Assisting National Board and DALE Foundation are actively developing solutions, including expanding certification pathways and removing access barriers. Locally, programs like North Central Michigan College and partnerships with institutions like Northwestern Michigan College are addressing the workforce shortage. Dentists can strengthen the profession by recognizing their team's contributions and encouraging education and certification for dental assistants.

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to conduct a mixed methods research study on retired individuals and identifying their occupational identity throughout their retired experience.

METHODS: Using survey methods, a demographic questionnaire was sent out to individuals who signed up to participate in the study. To participate, individuals had to be in the age range of 50-80 years with a minimum of 2 years post retirement. A total of 15 participants initially signed up with a 93% survey response rate (n=14) and 86% (n=13) response rate for completion of the study with an interview.

Even informal gatherings are considered an extension of the workplace, so policies apply. If serving alcohol, it's essential to do so responsibly, providing alternatives and ensuring safe transportation. Leaders must model appropriate behavior and address any inappropriate conduct. Physical activities should be covered by workers' compensation policies, with injuries promptly reported. Being proactive about these risks ensures successful team-building events.

For fraud to be established, specific conditions must be proven, including knowledge, intent, and damage to the dental plan. The burden of proof is high for criminal fraud, making it unlikely in this situation. The dentist's main concern should be a breach of their participation agreement and the need for better billing practices.

Dentists face numerous concerns in the workplace, including stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression. Mental health concerns affect the workplace in profound ways, including engagement in and quality of work and patient care, the level of productivity, and health care costs. Recognizing mental health concerns is an important first step in assisting dentists and their staff in receiving needed assistance from mental health professionals. Steps that dentists can use to communicate their concerns and share resources are provided. Finally, a prevention model is presented to promote mental health and workplace well-being in the practice of dentistry.

Specialty drugs, mostly bio based, tend to be high risk, high priced, and more regulated than traditional drugs, resulting in unprecedented challenges in distribution. African American, Black, Hispanic, Latino, and low-socioeconomic communities have lower swimming ability and higher relative drowning rates than White and high-socioeconomic communities, distinguishing the former as high-priority populations to engage with effective learn-to-swim programming. This article demonstrates how prioritizing the reduction of fear-producing brain processes while learning to swim can result in 79.5% of high-priority population non-swimmers being able to jump into deep water, roll onto their backs and either float or tread for 60 seconds, and swim 25 yards after an average of 14 practice sessions. This article provides an analysis of self-reported water competency skills at a Historically Black University (HBCU). A survey was administered to undergraduate students who lived on campus at one HBCU. Of the 254 respondents that reported the ability to swim, only 187 respondents self-reported the ability to swim and the ability to perform water competency skills. The biggest discrepancy occurred within individuals that identified as Black or African American. In this group, 142 out of 250 participants proclaimed the ability to swim. However, the number of Black or African Americans that could swim dropped to 84 when researchers operationally defined …

So it is too early to say that "business as usual" is gone for good. And COVID furthered and deepened long term trends, accelerating the great resignation and a dramatic revaluation of intangible assets like reputation, intellectual property and human capital. In response, there is a clear need for a new leadership mindset for the 21st century after the COVID pandemic.
