Do gender diversity quotas enhance firm value? This broad question has sparked significant debate because while diversity is generally thought to improve board functioning, prior research in international settings suggests mandating diversity may have adverse consequences if it moves firms away from market equilibrium. Exploiting the political events leading up to the passage of California Senate Bill 826 as an exogenous shock to assess the market implications of board gender composition, we document either significantly positive or insignificant 2-day abnormal returns for California firms across a variety of model specifications. การศึกษาค้นคว้าวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาวิถีชีวิตและการเก็บขยะพลาสติกของคนเก็บของเก่าในพื้นที่ศูนย์กำจัดมูลฝอย องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ตำบลคลองขวาง อำเภอไทรน้อย จังหวัดนนทบุรี และเพื่อจัดทำข้อเสนอแนะแนวทางการส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตให้คนเก็บของเก่าเพื่อส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนโดยคนเก็บของเก่าในศูนย์กำจัดมูลฝอย องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพเก็บข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและสังเกตการณ์อย่างไม่มีส่วนร่วม โดยผู้ในข้อมูลสัมภาษณ์แบ่งเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่ระดับปฏิบัติการ กองทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อมองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรีและกลุ่มคนเก็บของเก่าขายภายในศูนย์กำจัดมูลฝอย องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี ผลการศึกษาพบว่ากลุ่มคนเก็บของเก่าขายมีวิถีชีวิตในการทำงานเริ่มทำงานในบ่อขยะตั้งแต่เช้าและเลิกงานช่วงเย็นๆ การใช้ชีวิตประจำวันจะดำเนินภายในบ่อขยะทั้งพักผ่อน รับประทานอาหาร คัดแยกขยะโดยจะมีเพิงเล็ก ๆ ไว้หลบแดดหลบฝน ด้านคุณภาพชีวิตกลุ่มคนเก็บของเก่าถือเป็นกลุ่มที่ขาดโอกาสทางทั้งคมในด้านการศึกษา สวัสดิการและขาดโอกาสการได้รับคุณภาพชีวิตขั้นพื้นฐาน การทำงานแบบเดิมในทุก ๆ วัน คัดแยกขยะตามความเข้าใจโดยคัดแยกตามลักษณะของพลาสติกเช่น ขวดใส พลาสติกหนา พลาสติกทึบ การขาดองค์ความรู้ความเข้าใจทำให้เสียโอกาสการสร้างรายได้ที่เพิ่มขึ้นการส่งเสริมสนับสนุนด้านองค์ความรู้จึงเป็นสิ่งจำเป็นต่อการทำความเข้าใจเป็นอย่างมาก การพัฒนาธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนในพื้นที่ยังมีจำนวนไม่มาก จำกัดอยู่ในวงแคบเนื่องจากทรัพยากรและองค์ความรู้ที่จำกัดการสร้างแผนงานเกี่ยวกับระบบเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนในการนำพลาสติกมาจัดการอย่างถูกต้องโดยใช้นักรีไซเคิลระดับมืออาชีพที่มีอยู่ภายในพื้นที่เป็นแรงงานสำคัญให้เกิดการสร้างแผนงานการดำเนินงานการจัดการขยะพลาสติกภายในศูนย์กำจัดมูลฝอยเพื่อสร้างรายได้ให้แก่กลุ่มนักรีไซเคิลและการสร้างรายได้จากการจัดการขยะพลาสติกในกระบวนการแปรรูปขยะพลาสติกอย่างยั่งยืนยังช่วงลดปริมาณขยะพลาสติกและพื้นที่ฝังกลบขยะมูลฝอยที่มีอย่างจำกัด

การศึกษาในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ถอดบทเรียนการเป็นชุมชนปลอดขยะต้นแบบของชุมชนบ้านหนองสองห้อง ตำบลกรับใหญ่ อำเภอบ้านโป่ง จังหวัดราชบุรี 2) จัดทำแนวทางในการขยายผลความสำเร็จจากการขับเคลื่อนชุมชนปลอดขยะภายใต้แนวคิดขยะเหลือศูนย์แบบมีส่วนร่วม วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยดำเนินการศึกษาโดยใช้เทคนิคการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative research) ด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ (Key Informants) 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ 1) ภาคประชาชน 2) เจ้าหน้าที่ภาครัฐ 3) เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคเอกชน และเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากแหล่งข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ วิเคราะห์ผลสำเร็จในแต่ละขั้นตอนตามกรอบแนวคิดทฤษฎีการเปลี่ยนแปลง ToC (Theory of Change) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การขับเคลื่อนการจัดการขยะของชุมชนบ้านหนองสองห้อง ริเริ่มจากปัจจัยนำเข้า 2 ส่วน ได้แก่ 1) ความต้องการแก้ปัญหาขยะในพื้นที่อันเป็นผลมาจากการที่ชุมชนต้องเผชิญกับปริมาณขยะที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้นเกินกว่าที่ระบบการจัดการขยะของเทศบาลจะดำเนินการจัดการได้อย่างทันท่วงที 2) บทเรียนความสำเร็จจากชุมชนต้นแบบในพื้นที่ อันได้แก่ ชุมชนบ้านรางพลับ ตำบลกรับใหญ่ อำเภอบ้านโป่ง จังหวัดราชบุรี ซึ่งเป็นชุมชนที่ประสบผลสำเร็จจากการประกวดรางวัลชุมชนปลอดขยะ (Zero Waste) และเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับประเทศ ผลลัพธ์ของการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นในชุมชนต้นแบบได้กลายเป็นแรงจูงใจสำคัญในกระบวนการสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลง ทั้งนี้ พบปัจจัยแห่งความสำเร็จในการขับเคลื่อนการเป็นต้นแบบชุมชนปลอดขยะในระดับประเทศ 6 ประเด็น ประกอบด้วย 1) การมีต้นแบบแห่งความสำเร็จ 2) การสนับสนุนของภาคีเครือข่าย 3) ความไว้เนื้อเชื่อใจ 4) แรงจูงใจ 5) ภาวะผู้นำการเปลี่ยนแปลง และ 6) กระบวนการแบบมีส่วนร่วม

การศึกษาครั้งนี้ศึกษาพัฒนาการเปลี่ยนแปลงบนถนนพระรามสี่ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อชุมชน และทัศนคติระดับครัวเรือนต่อผลกระทบทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ในระยะก่อนและหลังปี 2565 โดยศึกษาชุมชนแออัดในระยะ 1 กิโลเมตรจากถนนพระรามสี่ จำนวน 2 แห่ง คือ ชุมชนพัฒนาบ่อนไก่ และชุมชนพระเจน เขตปทุมวัน กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยใช้การศึกษาแบบย้อนหลัง (Retrospective study) และการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน เก็บข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เอกสาร แบบสอบถาม จำนวน 80 ชุด และการสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้างกับตัวแทนครัวเรือน นักวิชาการ และตัวแทนเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ การศึกษาพบว่าการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน ระบบขนส่งมวลชน และโครงการพัฒนาเมือง ส่งผลให้เกิดการเข้าถึงพื้นที่ และการเพิ่มขึ้นของมูลค่าที่ดิน ซึ่งสร้างทั้งประโยชน์และแรงกดดันทางเศรษฐกิจต่อผู้อาศัยในชุมชนแออัด การเปลี่ยนแปลงและผลกระทบบางประการสามารถสังเกตเห็นได้ชัด เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลงลักษณะทางกายภาพ ในขณะที่การเปลี่ยนแปลงย้ายเข้าออกของคนดั้งเดิม หรือเศรษฐกิจชุมชนดำเนินไปอย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป ทั้งนี้สภาพแวดล้อมชุมชนที่เปลี่ยนแปลงที่เร็วกว่าภายในชุมชน รวมถึงเงื่อนไขการพัฒนาที่อยู่อาศัยได้ส่งผลให้เกิดข้อจำกัดในการขยับฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจ ส่งผลให้ครัวเรือนในชุมชนทั้งสองแห่งได้รับผลกระทบด้านความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจ อย่างไรก็ตามตัวแทนครัวเรือนทั้งสองแห่งยังมีทุนทางสังคมอยู่มาก ข้อเสนอแนะต่อการจัดการผลกระทบ พบว่า การพัฒนาเมืองควรมีกระบวนการทำความเข้าใจและออกแบบร่วมกันระหว่างผู้อาศัยในชุมชน และผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย โดยคำนึงถึงเงื่อนไขของครัวเรือนที่อาศัยในชุมชน ภาครัฐควรส่งเสริมและจัดให้มีการคุ้มครองทางสังคมที่ส่งเสริมความเข้มแข็งทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของครัวเรือนในชุมชน รวมถึงทบทวนการจัดเก็บภาษีที่ดินและสิ่งปลูกสร้างที่ส่งผลให้เกิดภาระภาษีที่อยู่อาศัยแก่ผู้เช่าอาศัยในชุมชน

Cultural Intelligence (CQ) has gained prominence as a vital attribute for organizational managers, encompassing their ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts effectively. However, despite its acknowledged significance, the relationships among its dimensions need to be better understood. This paper contributes to the existing CQ literature in two ways. First, we propose a model of CQ that integrates elements from previous conceptualizations, separating the motivational component. Our proposed framework retains the metacognitive, cognitive, and behavioral CQ dimensions but does not assume predefined relationships among them. Recruiters increasingly cybervet job applicants by checking their social media profiles. Theory (i.e., the political affiliation model, PAM) and research show that during cybervetting, recruiters are exposed to job-unrelated information such as political affiliation, which might trigger similarity-attraction effects and bias hireability judgments. However, as the PAM was developed in a more polarized two-party political system, it is pivotal to test and refine the PAM in a multiparty context. This study investigates the evolving role of Front-Line Managers (FLMs) within the Irish public sector as they adapt to devolved Human Resources Management (HRM) responsibilities amidst a backdrop of fiscal austerity, staff reductions, and organisational restructuring. Policy initiatives such as the One Civil Service Approach and the Civil Service Renewal Plan have shifted HRM responsibilities to FLMs without adequate formal training or resources, compelling them to rely heavily on social capital—networks of relationships and informal interactions—to bridge knowledge gaps and manage operational demands.

Collaboration within networks and clusters is strongly encouraged as a catalyst for accelerating industrial transformation, developing regional competitive advantages, and boosting company and job creation. A snowball sampling method was used to survey 192 agritourism operators, with 145 responses meeting the inclusion criteria for analysis. This study underlines the role of women’s boards of commissioners in producing better financial performance in the specific sectors, manufacturing and service sectors, where the power of women to lead these sectors is more optimal. The sample is selected from the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2009–2018. The final sample is 780 observations. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the degree and structure of dependence on the stock return of pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia that are listed on the IDX linearly with the Jakarta Composite Index (JKSE) within the period of 2019-202.
