Hospitals receive payments through claim submissions with complete documents to the Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) Health. However, not all inpatient claims have been submitted to BPJS Health, and there are still 16.97% pending inpatient claims. In claims that are not approved, claims can be resubmitted, but time constraints for the claim process have resulted in 2.64% of inpatient cases in 2022 not resubmitted. While studies have explored the concept of service robot risk awareness (SRRA)– an employee’s perception of service robots posing a threat to human labor– the impact of SRRA on robot abuse and its emotional mechanism through which it affects employees remains unclear. This research leverages emotional appraisal theory to investigate the mediating role of fear of robots in the relationship between SRRA and robot abuse. Giving tips (or gratuities) in restaurants in the United States has been and is currently a hotly debated and discussed topic. Concerns regarding proper compensation have been raised, but there is a need for empirical evidence to investigate and solve potential issues of compensation. This honors thesis aimed to answer two questions: Whether restaurant patrons tip more when prompted with tipping percentages, and whether those who have worked in the tipping industry tip more than those who have not.
