Middle East Journal of Communication Studies

This study aimed to explore the impact of public relations strategies on the effectiveness of epidemic management in Jordan, using the COVID-19 pandemic as a case study. The study employed the descriptive-analytical method, which is based on the systematic description and interpretation of social and media phenomena. The findings revealed that public relations play a pivotal strategic role in managing health crises by building public trust, preparing communication plans, and formulating awareness messages in coordination with relevant authorities. Literary And Artistic Property Rights Between Regular Courts And Administrative Courts: A Comparative Study Of Jordan And Egypt, Noor Al-Hindi

Jordan Journal of Applied Science-Humanities Series

This study addresses literary and artistic property rights within the context of the ordinary and administrative judiciary, focusing on the legal framework for the deposit of these rights under the Jordanian and Egyptian Copyright and Neighboring Rights Protection Laws. The research findings indicate that legal deposit is an obligation of the rights holders of the work to submit a copy of the published work to a government authority. In Egypt, the rights holder is required to submit a licensing application to the General Department for the Control of Works, accompanied by certain data. The International Olympic Committee generated $7.6 billion in revenue from 2017-2021, with 30% coming from The Olympic Partnership (TOP) Program marketing rights, which has grown from $96 million to $2.3 billion since 1985. In addition to the direct sponsorship costs, additional activation costs are incurred by the organization as they market, advertise, and highlight their product during the event they sponsor to achieve a financial return. The purpose of this study is to assess whether TOP partners outperform a matched non-partner during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Women remain underrepresented in senior leadership in both public and private industry and in non-profit postsecondary education. One reason that has been identified for the gender disparity in senior leadership positions is second-generation or implicit biases. The problem addressed in this study was the existence and persistence of second-generation biases that contribute to the lack of active senior women mentors, potentially inhibiting junior women from Generation X and millennials from achieving senior leadership status in non-profit higher education. The ENCLOTHE Open Educational Resource (OER) textbook was developed and implemented for a Fashion Show Theory and Production course at a Mid-Southern University in the United States. This case study examines the effectiveness of this specialized OER in addressing the unique needs of an upper-division capstone fashion course. The textbook, designed to replace a costly industry-focused resource, offers interactive modules, video clips, and assignments compatible with learning management systems. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study evaluated students' perceptions of the textbook's usefulness and ease of use across time points during the semester. Internships play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry experience for hospitality business students. This study investigates the impact of internship experiences on workforce readiness, focusing on gender-based differences in perceived achievements and areas for improvement. Grounded in Experiential Learning Theory (ELT) and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), the research examines how internships contribute to students’ career preparation. A survey of 373 students revealed that female students emphasized interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills, whereas male students highlighted technical expertise and leadership. The existing kitchen facilities at the School of Human Sciences at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) are not equipped to support students with disabilities, presenting significant challenges to students with mobility, hearing, and visual impairments. Fixed-height counters, lack of tactile and auditory cues, and insufficient visual alerts restrict full participation, compromising the safety, independence, and learning outcomes of these students. Beverage is an important part of wedding receptions and parties. This particular study examined whether there are differences in terms of the consumption of alcoholic beverages between a Catholic and a Muslim wedding receptions and parties. Data revealed that there are differences. In Catholic wedding receptions, there were consumptions of alcoholic beverages. Wines are pair with food. However, in Muslin wedding receptions, there were no consumption of alcoholic beverages. most beverages consist of tea, water, coffee, and cordial, which is a concentrated squash syrup mixed with water or fruit juice to make a sweet non-alcoholic beverage.

A dental implant is a restorative surgical procedure that serves as a solution to replace missing teeth that imitate the function, sensation, and appearance of natural teeth. The objective of this dental case study is to examine the diagnosis, treatment, and post-operation of a patient with a history of tooth loss and infection in the anterior maxilla.
