JOHNSON CITY (March 27, 2020) – East Tennessee State University’s College of Nursing was ranked 11th among the top accredited online nursing programs and schools in the country by Learn.org.

The list included the top 50 online nursing programs and schools according to Learn.org. ETSU was the only institution in Tennessee listed in in the top 20.

Digital badges are becoming more prevalent in the credentialing sector yet there is limited understanding of how the industry is developing or how digital badges influence the hiring process. This study employed an exploratory case method to make known the development of the badging industry. This dynamic new educational technology has a wide range of stakeholders working at establishing standards to ensure consistent and effective application across the badging ecosphere.
