JOHNSON CITY (June 22, 2020) – Calling each East Tennessee State University student is an ambitious goal, but Bucs Calling Bucs is close to that achievement.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Division of Student Life and Enrollment, began in mid-April after the university’s COVID-19 response had shifted all classes online. The goal of the program is simply to provide a friendly voice during a difficult time to check in and say hello. More than 100 volunteers from across campus – including faculty, staff and senior leadership – have made calls.

Study.com evaluated hundreds of schools for this list using data from the U.S. Department of Education and their own research and ranked schools based on academic and career resources for BSN students, the quality of education, program accessibility and other factors.

Several research findings indicate that basic cyber hygiene can potentially deter the majority of cyber threats. One of the ways cybersecurity professionals can prepare users to ensure proper hygiene is to help them develop their ability to spot the difference between normal and abnormal behavior in a computer system. Malware disrupts the normal behavior of a computer system. The lack of appropriate user training has been one of the main reasons behind the exposure of computer systems to threats, from social engineering to viruses, trojans, and ransomware. This study explores industry perspectives on the changing nature of graduate roles and the importance of the undergraduate degree, and any impact these have on traditional non-graduate roles in different sectors and industries. Amid declining labour markets, it is critical to consider graduate pathways to employment and the implications of increasing numbers entering non-graduate roles on expectations and turnover. Ongoing disequilibrium in many areas of the graduate labour market points to developing our understanding of alternative pathways into professional roles beyond the undergraduate degree.
