Background: Interviews were conducted with Career and Technical Education Student Organizations (CTSOs) advisors from secondary schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. Purpose: The purpose was to discover the impact COVID-19 pandemic had on CTSO advisors’ personal views and lived experiences. Method: Researchers followed a constant comparative methodology, analyzing the interview transcripts for interconnectivity of the experiences by independently coding data employing open and axial coding techniques and identifying emerging themes. Discussion: The short-term effects of the pandemic were related to access and adequate technology, apathy in both students and advisors, and administrative support. Purpose: Improvement of the educational process, professional activity and training of students of the faculties of physical education by means of basic gymnastics .

Methods: Theoretical analysis and generalization of pedagogical and scientific literature data, questionnaires, study of observation results, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, mathematical statistics. The obtained data were processed using generally accepted methods of mathematical statistics set out in the special literature in a number of manuals, which provides for the calculation of the following indicators: arithmetic mean; mean square deviation; reliability of differences by Student; average error. Beginning in 1907, the National Education Association began a movement to combine industrial and commercial education with the present education systems to prepare students for jobs within their communities. By 1914, Kansas incorporated “Industrial Training” into the standardized Course of Study for Graded Schools Having Nine Month Terms. Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate and better understand the attributes and characteristics of the influential physician, the dual-roled physician assistant (PA)leader and how this relationship impacts the PA leader and the PA leader-physician relationship. These dual-role PA leaders may possess additional formal job titles and duties while also having direct reports.

Method: We surveyed PA leaders at a large academic medical center and its associated health system. The survey instrument evaluates perceptions, attitudes and characteristics of the PA leader, influential physician, and their relationship.

On April 25, 2021, the Washington state legislature enacted a new state capital gains tax. Prior to the enactment of the new state capital gains tax, Washington had been one of the few states that did not impose a tax on either income or capital gains. The limitations imposed by the Washington state constitution have forced the legislature to characterize the tax as an excise tax, rather than treat it as an income tax as would the federal government and every other state. “Approximately one in eight women will face breast cancer in their lifetime. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has affected routine screenings and reconstruction opportunities for many patients,” said Dr. Alicia Billington, an ETSU Health plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has helped lead the awareness efforts. “We are hoping our efforts to promote awareness encourage patients to get their screening imaging and exams.”
