The 1930 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Patterson Springs Baptist Church in Patterson Springs, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by Wallace Hartsell. The State Missions report mentioned that the Board took on missionary work with Indians in Robeson County, and the Cherokees in Swain County. The Baptist Young People's Union (B.Y.P.U.) reported continued growth in membership. the Boilign Springs Junior College reported record enrollment growth. The College made arrangements to lease equipment and classrooms, and provide instruction for some high school subjects with the Cleveland County Board of Education.
