This study is an attempt to investigate self-examination on the basis of Paul's statement in I Cor. 11:2e. Since the context of the passage is very important, Chapter II studies the immediate context of I Corinthians 11 and the wider context of the entire epistle. Paul's interest throughout the epistle is the concern that the Corinthians recognize Christ as the κúριος in their lives.
