The issue of March 1, 1942 included information about club activities, art exhibitions, and student council notes. There were some speakers and activities that were related to World War II and the home front. This was the first issue so there was a plea for student participation.

Scope was a student publication that discussed in its single issue the formation and plans of a new student organization. While the publication includes indications that it was intended to be published regularly, no other issues exist. This issue of February 21, 1941 had a brief article about the Trek Club at RISD and some of it's activities at the school farm in Barrington. A Winter Carnival took place and more activities were in the planning stages for the spring.

The purpose or this thesis is to present a history of the religious press in Milwaukee. Through the religious press or this city is made articulate the growth and development of the various religious groups represented by the press and effected by it to the extent that the press is able to mold the thought and opinions of its constant readers. This thesis is not concentrated upon those ephemeral publications which came to life with the growth of Milwaukee and died before they had reached their literary maturity.
