Lies Breathed Through Silver: Mythological Constructs In Tolkien’S Works, Joshua Mccrowell
Lies Breathed Through Silver: Mythological Constructs In Tolkien’S Works, Joshua Mccrowell
Undergraduate Theses and Capstone Projects
It’s not hard to imagine the English air being warm the night John Ronald Reuel Tolkien brought Clive Staples Lewis hard won into Christianity. The image of their lengthy midnight talk has since become almost mythic to those who study those two authors because of the impact that Christianity (and the other) had on each other’s lives. Lewis’ most famous works - everything from Narnia to his Space Trilogy to his apologetics - all are based on and inspired by his faith. Handling And Preventing Journalistic Fraud: Janet Cooke, Stephen Glass, Jayson Blair, Kenneth Munson
Undergraduate Theses and Capstone Projects
Fraud is a growing concern in the news business, especially in recent years where numerous journalism scandals rock its foundation. This paper examines the most prominent cases: Stephen Glass, the reporter for The New Republic newsmagazine who completely or partially fabricated 27 stories in the late ‘90s; Jayson Blair, the New York Times reporter who was found to have plagiarized or made up his supposedly on-thescene reporting in 2003; and Janet Cooke, who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1981 for her Washington Post story about a child heroin addict who, in actuality, did not exist. This paper will examine flaws …

Navajo-English Dictionary, Leon Wall, William Morgan
Navajo - English Dictionary
From the Preface:
This Navajo-English dictionary is presented with the hope that the vocabulary may be of aid to Navajos who are learning English as well as to non-Navajos who are interested in acquiring some knowledge of the Navajo language. The authors have listed Navajo vocabulary and have attempted to provide definitions in simple, easily understood English.
Grateful acknowledgement is made to all the people who contributed their knowledge and time to the development of this dictionary.
