A personal correspondence from Charles L. Stafford, a former military officer in the 14th Regiment Rhode Island Heavy Artillery Unit. Responds to the matter of an official document sent by Cameron; responds to Cameron making two dollars a day in the trades; provides information of former military colleagues and states he would not go into the military again "under any consideration".
