O'Mahoney, Beitzel informs O'Mahoney that the Tribal Council of the Three Affiliated Tribes of Fort Berthold, North Dakota has passed a resolution thanking him for his amendment to the First Deficiency Appropriation Bill of 1946, which stipulated that no funds appropriated for the construction of Garrison Dam may be used until the members of the Three Affiliated Tribes had been satisfactorily compensated for the loss of their land.
