The collection is divided into two series: Series I: Special Commission on Boundaries, Tacna-Arica Arbitration Papers and Series II: Morrow Family Personal Papers.
The first series pertains the 1922 request by Chile and Peru for the United States to arbitrate their land dispute over the provinces of Tacna, Arica, and Tarata. Jay Johnson Morrow was the chairman of the special commission arbitrating the boundary dispute between Chile and Peru from 1925 to 1929. Collection materials include historic maps and treaties, copies of geological surveys, field reports, annexation documents, and reports of arbitration meetings. This series includes materials in Spanish.

The Southern Women and Their Families in the 19th Century: Papers and Diaries Collection consists of microfilm copies of selected collections at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill’s Southern Historical Collection and the Virginia Historical Society related to southern women and their families during the nineteenth century. Topics relate to women in the South and include descriptions of plantation and family life, domestic relations, and travel, and formats include diaries, correspondence, and other papers. This collection consists of historical materials from the Huntington State Hospital during the period 1897 through 1984. The collection includes correspondence of hospital personnel and patients, administrative records, newspaper clippings, and a large number of photographs. Significant to the collection are files relating to transorbital lobotomies performed by Dr. Walter Freeman in the early 1950's as part of a larger lobotomy project in West Virginia. The …

This collection consists of eleven pages copied from the Burlington Presbyterian Church record book containing the “Record of the Establishment Proceedings of the Presbyterian Church of Burlington, Lawrence County, Ohio.” The text includes a list of members, minutes and notes, and a list of baptisms between 1826 and 1828. It also includes copies of a more modern photograph of the church added later and a copy of a typed page about the Kanawha Presbytery, First Presbyterian Church in Huntington, West Virginia. Due to the fact that all pages are copies, legibility can vary.
