Laurence Gilbert D’Arcy (Larry) served in the Citizen Military Forces (CMF) from 20 June 1962 to the 12 February 1964 and the Australian Army from the 18 February 1964 to the 17 February 1973. The Army took Larry on a journey that encompassed a two year tour in Malaya, two combat tours in Vietnam and to his final posting as a gunnery instructor with 123 Training Battery.
