The Growth Of Criminal Law In Ancient Greece, Robert F. Larkin

When I first undertook to write a thesis upon this subject I thought that, since the Greeks were noted for their politics, there would be material aplenty upon the subject of ancient law but I was destined to disappointment. After some study I found that most of the books upon the subject were founded chiefly upon the ancient classics and not upon proven facts. Bearing this thought in mind I set out to discover just how ancient criminal law did evolve and my discoveries are set out in the following pages.

A Thesis On The Constitutional History Of The American Negro From 1776 To 1875, Clothilde Labat
Electronic Theses and Dissertations
This thesis, submitted to Xavier University in partial fulfillment of requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1930, traces the constitutional and legal history of the American Negro from 1776 to 1875, examining the legislative record underlying the eventual adoption of the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments. Labat argues that this body of law developed gradually from colonial-era statutes and custom rather than from any founding constitutional mandate, and that the Federal Constitution itself contained no explicit provision for slavery.

The 1929 Transcript was published by the senior class of the Chicago-Kent College of Law. The twelfth and final annual volume of the Transcript includes faculty photos and brief biographies, photos of the 1929 and 1930 graduating class, photos of postgraduates, and a list of undergraduates.
