Cornell or her heir the use of and control over land within "the John Bishop farm...containing twenty-three acres and ninety two and a half rods" so long as she provides for John Bishop Jr "a good and comfortable support" during his natural life.

This mid-nineteenth century autograph book, titled "The Jenny Lind Album," was (according to the inscription) presented to Alice J. Cornell by her brother, Christmas 1852. The hardcover album book is full of messages, many of them poems, written to Alice by friends and family. It was printed with several picturesque engravings in its pages like “Balboa” as “Drawn by P. F. Rothermel” and “Engraved by J. Sartain."
