The handwritten pencil notations on the front endpapers reveals that Heath's French-English Dictionary was owned by "Miss Geneva Cornell, March 1, 1892" and "Honore Cornell, Otterbein College, Freshman year 1894, Sophomore year 1895." It is likely that the family passed it around to use for college classes.
