This Autograph Book, also called an Album Book, belonged to Lucinda Lenore Merriss Cornell and is full of messages, many of them poems, written to her by friends and family. The book is bound in black leather decorated with floral designs and printed with several picturesque engravings in its pages like "View of Northumberland (on the Susquehanna)" engraved by H. Griffiths after a picture by W. H. Bartlet.

This handwritten copy of a legal document was recorded in Book No. 4-152, dated February 27th 1823.

The hand-penned notation on the blank front cover of the manuscript declares ownership, stating "Caleb Bishop his book January 1805."
